Good quality and price, it does the job required

Admittedly I agree with many of the comments of the other reviews here. Oil pans of today are no longer just buckets anymore. They have splash guards and easy pour spouts for recycling. On first inspection, it is obvious that this oil pan has none of those features. It is a simple plastic bucket. Therefore it is no surprise that people have the complaints they do. I'm really surprised people expected otherwise!What this pan does do well is general small capacity fluids, that is, scooters, motorcycles and things of that nature. I would never think of using this on a car! It is small, lightweight and cleans easily without costing a bundle.

Found this very sturdy for the price. It is wide and catches all the drips. I previously had a Jerry can style oil drain pan. The bonus here is you can check for chippings easily and if you drop the oil plug into the pan you can retrieve it. On a Jerry can oil pan it is more difficult for both. The down side is you have to have a funnel to move the oil to a bottle for disposal. Apart from that it’s a good item.

it does the job and does hold 6 litres of oil, but the spout is a poor design and oil goes everywhere except where you need it too when pouring out!

Simple but essential solution to collecting used engine oil. Capacity Adequate to hold all my engine's oil. Low sides enable the pan to be easily positioned under the car and wide shape captures oil stream over a wide range of angles as flow decreases and the stream is blown by the wind. The pan is stiff enough to pull out and lift when full without bending and slopping dirty oil over the sides. The handle and spout simplify emptying it into an empty oil can and the pan itself wipes clean with a paper towel soaked in white spirit. There's even a little hole in the rim to allow it to be hung on a nail for storage. A really useful tool, you owe it to your driveway!

Everything you do NOT want in an oil catch pan. 3rd use, draining bike forks, I accidentally dropped a small wrench into the tray (from about 2ft height). It was more of a splash than an impact - nothing to suspect the pan would have failed - so I left the fork to drain overnight. Next day imagine my disappointment to find the oil had leaked out of the damaged pan all over my nice clean garage floor. Unfortunately the pan has ribs underneath to stiffen the (approx.) 1mm inadequate wall thickness. This creates a void underneath, which if you drop something into the pan, right next to the rib, will likely rip a hole in the bottom, the tear/split being concentrated/propagated by the sharp edge between the base and rib. See photo of small split. The label states this item will keep the garage floor clean but clearly not. Be warned this will NOT take any abuse, even light, or in my case dropping a small wrench into the pan. I imagine the lifetime warranty is useless.... I'll just leave my honest opinion in this review instead. Save your money and get a better drain tray... This one is too cheap to really be fit for purpose.

Für Motorrad gut geeignet. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Gibt's vielleicht auch günstiger, aber für mich hat es gut gepasst.

Très bon produit simple, efficace et pas chère sans fioriture faible hauteur parfait pour les véhicule bas rançon de sa faible hauteur ce méfier de la contenance par exemple pour un vr6 je dois vider le bac en court de vidange sinon ça déborde.

A pesar de haber leido alguna opinión que dice que es imposible verter el contenido sin derramar algo, decidí comprarla por la sencillez de su diseño y, al carecer de recovecos o enervaduras, es muy fácil limpiarla después de usarla.Le he cambiado el aceite a mi Polo que lleva 3,5 litros y no se me ha derramado ni una gota al vaciarla.Aunque es cierto que hay que tener buen pulso y paciencia para no verter más de la cuenta.
