MiniSun | Retro Eyeball 3 Way Droplet Ceiling Pendant Light Fitting in a Copper Finish | Pendant Lights, Home Décor & Improvement Essential | Mains Wired

Having purchased also the matching 6 spotlight and 3 spotlight versions, this is my final review. These I have mounted above my gloss black glass round table in my kitchen/dining area and they add such elegance - their light is nice and bright (40w bulbs) however not over powering - I was initially a little concerned over the direction of the light and was unsure if these would light up the whole area, but they do and very well. The only complaints I have are minor and do not knock these off their well deserved 5* rating: 1) The length of the pendant is a little long - I am just sub 6ft and if these were in an area were I would be walking through, I would bang my head on the lower pendant - thankfully as I have them mounted directly above a table there is no danger here - something just to be aware off though I would assume most folk will be doing the same 2) The clear plastic lines which house the wire to each pendant are quite tough - having being wrapped inside a box they were tricky to straighten out and as of yet the lights still are not pointing completely downwards - I am sure time will sort this out though. Overall, great lights - these will add that touch of elegance to any modern dining area. Photos to follow.

Love it !. Really pleased with my choice. Excellent for price too. Thankyou.

Love these lights over my dining table. Can ajust the length of cables

Slightly smaller than expected but good quality and looks great.

Look very stylish. Had mine fitted to our landing where they drop and look expensive. They don’t look cheap at all! They look ugly fitted with large bulbs, but fitted with golf ball bulbs they look fantastic! Would recommend. Easy to fit on a one way switch stead of a standard ceiling rose…

A tad fiddly to fit As there was no mounting points on the light to secure it to the ceiling before you wire the cable into the connector block. I just about managed to hang it alone but had to secure the wires into the connector block and hope the wires held whilst I gathered the two screws to screw it into the ceiling. These screws are utter trash as the heads stripped when half the thread was into the ceiling. Had to remove and install better screws. The wife seems happy said it looks nice.

Was impressed with others' reviews on these so decided to give them a go. At first glance they look wonderful and indeed, from the floor they look perfect but as you might expect for the price, if you look really closely at the chrome finish on the outside of each sphere, it is not terribly good. But I have to say it is perfectly 'good enough' and we love them. I would also add that the drop length of each ball is adjustable by simply pulling the cord up into the ceiling rose bit before securing the fitting to the ceiling. We have a standard modern house ceiling height and wanted them in two halves of daughter's bedroom. At the supplied lengths, she would have hit them with her arms when taking off clothes etc. So on each fitting, we pulled the longest one up to become the shortest, spacing it the same as the other two, and they were then perfect.

When looking for lighting for my new, if not too expensive kitchen, which is white/black/chrome and streamline, I needed light fittings that would carry through the simple elegance of the look. I did not want to go for spotlights which seem to be popular for kitchens at the moment. When I came across these pendant lights, I was a little dubious, as I had not seen anything like them before, whilst instinctively liking them! So still apprehensive till they were fitted! I have two sets in place, and they look great. Everyone who has seen them, has admired them. A bold and wise choice, even if I do say so myself! Goes to show you can have style and elegance without breaking the bank! I love my kitchen, and love my light fittings.
