It is also nice and compact with a large base-plate to help keep the arm sturdy. Review: Very Sturdy - The item arrived next day and was very well packaged. The first thing I noticed was how heavy and well made it was. It feels extremely sturdy and the paint is very well finished. It came with all the necessary fittings and tools to either clamp it directly to the back of my desk or fit it through a circular desk hole if one was available. Also supplied were various screws and spacers to enable different monitors to be fitted. I ended up using the screws that came with my monitor as they were a little bit shorter and as my monitor is curved I didn't want to risk anything. The fitting plate has a slide fitting which enable easy fitment of the monitor on to to the arm which has a locating pin and thumbnut to make it secure. There are very neat cable clips to make everything look tidy and the various Allen keys have their own clip which fits to the main pole and also acts as an additional cable clip. As my desk is from IKEA and therefore not of solid construction, I put a pice of wood between the clamp and the desk to help spread the load, just in case. I have a 34inch curved monitor which weighs about 6kg and the arm is supporting it with ease and it all feels very solid and secure. As long as shelf can take the weight of the monitor **Q: whats diameter of the grommet hole need to be?** A: 42mm sounds about right. I expected this to need ~10mm hole to put a bolt through. However, the clamp detaches and you have to feed part of it through your desk and then reattach it. I made a rectangular hole roughly 40mmX8mm. I wish I'd known this before purchasing but it worked fine in the end. I am amazed at the quality provided and the very reasonable cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by D***E on 23 February 2026* Esthetically this is a great looking product however if you are putting a 27 inch monitor that has a bit of weight to it, it does tend to tilt slightly. Its an easy fix by placing something underneath it on the side it tilts but would be great if it did not. But it is a minor issue only for the heavier screens.
