Not hard to fit and comfortable to wear
Given some reviews and that I am a tad back-handed, I was expecting a struggle to fit them, but I had no real difficulty. The right was harder than the first due to the extra wire (in my case) so I suggest starting with the left hand ear if you have wired headphones. They sound fine, seem decent enough quality, but are firmer than the originals I replaced. I think the my should soften up, but in the meantime, making sure the headphones are properly adjusted solves any issues. On the whole they are hard to criticise and certainly cheaper than the original parts even if you can source them, so the value for money is pretty good.

Perfect replacement earpads (in my opinion)
I very pleased with the soulwit lambskin earpads replacement for the Sennheiser Momentum 2 headphones. In my opinion the leather is just as soft and supple as the original, fits perfectly and has given my earphones a whole new lease of life. Installation was easy taking me less than five minutes per earpad. My recommendation for installation, first bring the ear cups to the bottom of headband as if you were extending the size for largest head possible. Then follow the installation guide. After inserting the lip into the gap at the top and you are pulling the outer piece up around the ear cup make sure you follow it round bit by bit not jumping to different parts.

Decent and confortable replacement.
I have purchased these to replace the pads on my Momentum 2 BT headphones, which i originally purchased in 2018. They do feel good and provide a soft, yet fully sealing fit around my ears, just like the OEM, and being sheapskin it does feel very similar. The items look very similar to the picture on the product page. Comparing them to my originals may be a bit tricky, as whilst they are definately looking a bit different in their overall shap to the ones I have replaced, I have to bear in mind that those are nearly 8 years old, and have been really used and abused. The new pads whilst very oval shaped, the sides and surface that contacts the skin are quite flat. I think the originals were a little more "bulbous". Also i think the foam may have been a little softer on the originals, but again, I may be comparing older worn pads to new. Also the new ones seem to be a bit thicker (both in depth from the headphone base to the point that contacts your skin, as well as the oval part that touches your skin, is a bit wider). So may not have the same ergonomics as OEM, however, that doesnt nessesarily mean they are better or worse, just different, and its probably very personal as to how they feel. No idea how it will shape itself over time, but to be fair, its not bad at all, and keeps my M2s going for a while longer (I hate the new design of the M4). Price seems a little high though, as i remember in the past the OEM versions were about the same price (or maybe even slightly cheaper) than these third party ones.

Super product but really not easy to fit!
Buying these was a mixed experience. The packaging was minimal and the delivery driver decided to squeeze the card envelope through my letterbox rather than ring the doorbell! I was home at the time!! Still, no apparent harm done so onto the product itself... I went for the Lambskin version. They are very similar in appearance and feel to the original ear cups. They actually feel more substantial but that may be because they are new rather than different from the spec of the original cups. Fitting them was a challenge! I followed the instructions that said to start at the top and work around feeding the lip of the new cup into the groove in the headphone. I found it kept coming out where I had started to feed it in as I worked around from top to bottom. After much struggling, fitting the first cup took me about 10 minutes by holding the headphones between my legs so I could use multiple fingers on both hands to feed the new cup around from the top to the bottom on both sides similtaneously. It worked! I would have been forgiven for expecting the second cup to take me less time. It didn't! For some reason I found it harder! It was very frustrating and I was releaved to finally have them both on. The photo shows the new cups fitted with one of the original ones in the shot as well to show the similarity.

Good value upgrade
Easy to fit, once installed are a little thicker than the originals so make the 'phones look chunkier than before. Having said that, they may well compact down with use. Sonically I can't tell the difference. A good upgrade for some tatty old ones.

Very, very close replacement for the OEM parts
I was a bit dubious buying these even when reading the reviews. But it seems the original parts are no longer in stock. These earpads are an excellent replacement for the Sennheiser OEM earpads. Material is synthetic all over, stitching differs a tiny bit, and the memory foam inside seems to be slightly stiffer (by little) compared to the original. But these difference are minimal. Most people wouldn't even notice. Sizewise they are the same, the textile inside covering the drivers is exactly the same, also the same shape (thinner at the front). Comfortable on the ear and I cannot sense any difference in sound/isolation from the originals. Easy to replace them once you understand how much they can be stretched. Takes less than a few minutes per earpad to fit and no extra tools. My earpads were completely ruined after 10 years of almost daily use. Very happy with these as an alternative. I personally would have preferred OEM parts, but couldn't find any, and these are very, very close to the originals. Well worth the price.

High quality ear pads worth a premium price. A bit of a challenge to install, a snug fit. Significantly boosted bass response on Sennheiser Momentum 2, maybe a good thing. Would be interesting to compare to cheaper alternatives.

I love my Sennheiser HD1 headphones but the original leather ear pads were breaking down. The leather was still good but the rest of the pads were breaking apart. Decided to take a chance on these aftermarket pads with faux leather and so far they have impressed. Installation was not difficult and they are comfortable. I’ve worn them over the last week for extended periods and no discomfort. I feel like the hole for your ear may be a bit bigger but that wasn’t an issue. The fit is still working out fine. Sound quality is still more than acceptable. I do think more ambient noise is passing through but I’m still enjoying music, podcasts, and videos. I hope these hold up long term and continue to perform well.
