Very well made, well-designed snorkel and good value
This is made of good quality materials and is well-designed. I have not tested in water yet but am comparing to the snorkel from the mask and snorkel set that I ordered from Pro-Dive and these are far superior materials. Has a dry feature and well to blow out water if any does somehow get in. Not sure how the dry valve will work when diving below the surface as unclear from the description. My guess is this model has the splash feature so water does not get in normally when you are on the surface and that the more expensive Alpha Ultra Dry has the full blocking system which also works when you are submerged - but this is just a guess and manufacturer description does not make very clear so will try to remember to update when I have sea-tested.Also, the clip to attach to your mask is very sturdy and has a clever design to tighten or loosen so you can set this and it should not slide unless you choose to adjust, which is a nice feature. Unfortunately I cannot find a Cressi mask which is small enough for my face so have to keep the other set which has the smaller mask, but I will keep and bring this snorkel because I have a suspicion the other one will not hold up.

Fab snorkel! Stylish and great value
I bought this on black friday for my holiday in cuba. This is the first time i have bought a dry snorkel. It only let a small about of water in when i dived down but it was very easy to empty by just blowing into it. One of my favourite features was that it had a snap on/off clip to attach to my mask which made it easy to quickly remove from my mask when i had finished swimming. I have only given 4 stars as i cressi have now made an even better ultra dry snorkel which i wish i had bought instead. Apart from that it is a great snorkel at a great price.

Excellent snorkel and amazing value for money
Excellent snorkel and amazing value for money besides the sleek design which is a bonus. I have use this snorkel as part of my Scuba Diving Set and I am very happy with it, the valve block water to come inside the snorkel when underwater, the bottom is flexible which add comfort when using it and even better there is a purge valve at the bottom so if there is any standing water at the bottom you can simply blow gently and the water gets released from the bottom without too much effort. Also there is a quick release mechanism.

Worthwhile step up
Definite improvement over a standard snorkel. The float at the top does an ok job of keeping out water but the extra volume around the mouthpiece and the purge valve make it very easy to expel any that does get in. No ache around the mouth even after extended periods i found. Quick release holds fast and never slipped off once

Does the job but some parts I dont like
My snorkel work well woth my Cressi matrix but the clip holder tend to get caught on my hair. The valve to stop the water getting in leaks but I dont mind this as I blow it out anyways.

Good value and very comfortable
Great product. The valve and splash guard stopped me from getting water in the tube when submerged or overtopped by waves and the purge valve deals with exhaling when submerged and expelling what little water gets in nicely. Comfortable for hours at a time. The float valve needs a thorough rinsing in fresh water after each to prevent it from sticking, but this is normal for most dry snorkels.
