Works for belt squats!
Using this for belt squats along with the Valhalla Fitness loading pin and a couple of climbing webbing slings. It works without digging into the hips which is job done as far as I’m concerned. I’m not sure how it’d fare in terms of durability for lower rep / heavy stuff but for higher rep ranges as an accessory to my squat it works fine.

Does what it says, though just be aware that it's got a joined bit rather than being belted together with a chain. Seems like that may be a weak point at heavier weights but works fine up to 35kg!
