SizzixExtended Multi-Purpose Platform Accessory

I ordered both the extended plates for the Sissix and the original sized plates, as I inherited the Big Shot from my mum and they had been really well used and were becoming a bit warped. Both sets of plates are really good quality and the extended plates seemed real value for money. I think they will have less chance o warping as I can move the dies around more, as Sissix advise, to prevent the plates from warping quickly. Definitely a good buy!

I purchased my Big Shot machine some years ago and have found it a really useful craft tool. However, when wafer-thin dies were first introduced, I could not use them and it was necessary to buy the multi purpose platform (which is now included with the new Big Shot machine.) I am so pleased with this product, which enables me to easily produce such delicate die cuts. Over the years I have collected many Sizzix dies, beginning with the Originals. I was then delighted to discover delicate Sizzix wafer-thin dies. Having started crafting with the "press-down handle-type" Sizzix die-cutter many years ago, I can thoroughly recommend Sizzix products.

Bought to replace the one on my wife's die cutting machine but she prefers the longer platform to the standard version. Seems very rugged and should last a good length of time. I know very little about the actual die cutting process so can't judge on its performance but the wife seems very happy with it's performance.

I had my bigshot for a few months before deciding to buy the extended multi purpose platform,so glad I did,I use it for extra long borders and my alphabets and have seen other dies that need the extra long platform so now I can buy any die as I have both original and extended platform, a good price,it was quick to arrive and well packaged.

This is a great accessory for cutting longer dies, (when used with the Sizzix extended plates) without having to invest in a larger die cutting machine, such as the Big Shot Pro. Allows you to cut many more smaller dies in one passes, saving time and energy. There is no need for an additional thin die adaptor to enable you to cut spell binders and other brands of thin metal dies, as this is part of the multi platform. Use with the Sizzix Big Shot

Why struggle trying to get long dies to fit on your Big Shot when you can get a set of Extended platforms. This gives you a ton more room for the longer dies (like my planner dies) or you can fit a lot of little ones and go with just the one cut. Highly recommended, couldn't live without mine!

Makes using the old Big Shot ( which only came with a base platform) much easier. Can now cut thin dies, as well as the old sizzlits and sizzlits strips, can't lose the instructions as they are printed on. Also for embossing folders and texture plates. Can fit into WRMK Evolution Advanced

This item arrived very promptly and was exactly as advertised. I needed this as my original platform what not the tabbed kind so I was very pleased when i saw this one was available.Would definitely recommend.

I use this in my big shop fold way. I take it to scrap meets with me. Keeps everything together and I only have to take one thing along. it works very well

This multipurpose Sizzix platform has an additional thin layer compared to the regular platforms, which gives it extra correctness when using with embossing folders.I wasn't sure about the layers being attached to each other, but it all works just perfectly. It doesn't move around when you use it. I also love the size. All just works perfectly with my Big Shot.Although it is a bit pricey, when you hold it in your hand, the materials speak for themselves. We have no choice getting this particular product when in need, but you get what you pay for.
