Thermos Radiance Cooler, Navy, 12 Can

I bought this over a month ago now for my partner to take lunches to work. I was tempted by the smaller 6 can variation of the same product, but there were some negative reviews pointing out that it was qutie hard to get ANYTHING inside of that one. I was worried this one would be a little too big, but it does seem to be a good size and fit for purpose. My partner regurarly puts: sandwiches, a yoghurt, a drink, and a piece of fruit into this with room (but not too much) to spare. She doesn't bother with icepacks at the moment, but with that amount, you can fit two of those in if you like.When I personally tried the product, I found that having two icepacks in the lunchbox with my sizable lunch kept everything nice and cold until I picked up my lunch about 5-6 hours later. I would wager that this could keep cold for even longer than that (maybe up to 10-12). Please note though, to get it to stay cold, you need to put COLD items into it. So if you're packing sandwiches and drinks, try and put them in the fridge the night before - as it extends how long it keeps cold.What's the long story short? This product would be suitable for anyone who wants to take lunches into work and maybe doesn't want to put them into communal areas, or prefers to leave it in the car. It also works as a straight up lunchbox, and is easy-to-clean to boot. Recommend with no reservations!

We looked at the 24 can sized bag, but decided to go one size up. Fortunately. This is more than big enough for a family of four - bottles of drink, lunch boxes, crisps, fruit etc. You can fit A LOT in it.The long strap makes it easy to carry on one shoulder, or around the back. It also has a strong carry handle on either end.It has a strong zipper with two zips, but most useful is the lid - a square Velcro closed section that can be opened to reach inside without having to open the whole lid and let the cold out.Another thing worth a mention is the section at the front. Totally separate from the cooled section with a zip of its own. We bought this mostly to take on our beach holiday. Very handy for putting in phones, wallets etc. that you don't need cold, but want to keep safe and sand-free!A very decent bag and good value. Well worth it.

The media could not be loaded. Great product as you'd expect from Thermos, this review is for the 24 can size. Arrived quickly, decently packed as is always the case with amazon. Folds up fairly flat, and more than ample size to get drinks, chocolate bars, sandwiches, fruit, etc in and measures roughly 11" x 11" x 8", which is pretty much a perfect size... not too small that you can't get all your stuff in, and not too big that it's cumbersome.Noted a reviewer mentioned the strap being too narrow and therefore 'cutting in' but don't find this the case at all, possibly a smaller bag that the other reviewer bought. Purchased this to take on holiday for the beaches, and was literally perfect - kept everything cool even without a freeze slab, and we typically stayed at the beach for about 4 hours, so along with the hour drive that's 5 hours - obviously you'll get far longer if you use a freeze-pack.Was worth the money at £15 or so that I paid, and I see it's now at about £11 so even more of a bargain. Definitely 5 stars from me, very pleased with it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Really good at keeping things cool, the ice packs (not supplied) are still solid after 3-4 hours as long as everything is chilled when put in. Only downside is one side of the dubble end zip had come off so it now only works from one end which is a little disappointing for a brand new product.

My friend has had one of these for 5 years now, and having put my own cooler bag away damp last year and found it mouldy this year, I've had to buy a new cooler bag, and this was it.30 litres and 36 cans seems like an awfully large bag, but in truth, it's smaller than you'd think. Maybe you can get 36 cans in this bag, but I can't see how. See my pics with the tape measure, what do you reckon? That said, it's a very good cooler bag.It's thoughtfully designed and well made from good-quality materials. After 5 years, my friends bag is still going strong, and I expect this one to be the same. I did think about getting the smaller size, but once I factored in a few chiller packs, I realised that this size was the best compromise of carrying food and not taking over the boot of my car.There are strong side handles, as well as a carry strap, and in use it insulates pretty well.All in all, I've got nothing bad to say about this bag.If this review has helped your buying decision, please click "Helpful", as it lets me know I'm being useful.

I ordered these for multiple uses - keeping food/drinks cool on days out, bike rides and for use inside the fridge in my campervan. The latter might sound like an unlikely use but keeping cold food inside a coolbag in a fridge greatly reduces gas or 12V battery power consumption on a campervan fridge - every time the fridge door is opened in a warm campervan, the fridge temperature can soar.The bags are very well made and very effective, especially when used in conjunction with a slim ice pack/board. I found performance is even better, particularly during hot weather, if the bags are chilled overnight in a fridge before use which ensures the insulation is also thoroughly chilled before they are used.I've used several designs and brands of coolbag but these are the best for casual use, picnics, office and school lunch use and I would happily buy them again.
