I’ve tried many brands and bought this one based on the good reviews because my previous brand, Bobbi Brown liquid eyeliner, has been discontinued. The new ink liners are, to my mind, not nearly so good as the proper liquid ones. I can’t get a decent black line with them - it always looks too pale and thin and not like in the pictures. Because of lockdown I decided to order the Rimmel one and I’m very pleased with it. I would say it doesn’t stay on quite so well as the Bobbi Brown one, but for less than £4 versus £25 for the Bobbi Brown one, there’s no competition. Most of the time it stays on well. If you exercise and get sweaty it can smudge a little, but generally it goes on easily and stays there. Compared with the Bobbi Brown one, the brush is stiffer, which makes it easier to use, and the bottle stands upright and doesn’t leak, which is fantastic.
