Is this machine lightweight?

It is a very solid machine and the stated weight is aprox 6,6 kg, it’s fairly heavy to carry so I bought a special sewing machine bag to carry it in and it keep all the bits and pieces together. Hope this is of help.

Can you adjust the length of the stitch?

Yes you can. You can turn the nob on the right from 2 to 7 which will adjust the length of the stitch. I don't know by how much as I haven't had the chance to do it. Hope that helps. Sorry for so long in getting back to you.
