SwitZer AS18 Airbrush Kit with Compressor and 2 x Double Action Airbrushes and Hose

Bought this as fed up with using propellent cans also to replace my ageing Humbrol airbrush. Excellent piece of kit especially for the money. The compressor is quiet and very efficient, having an auto pressure control that cuts the motor in and out so it doesn't have to run continually. The airbrushes are certainly much better than my old Humbrol giving me fantastic control when spraying my models.Both compressor and airbrushes are excellently engineered with hardly any plastic components and a sturdiness that I am sure will give years of service. One small caveat though; the motor end of the compressor gets hot and does not have a heat warning, so I personally recommend keeping the unit out of little hands reach when using.All in all though well recommended.

Sorry I haven’t tried airbrush unit yet but on opening a very well packaged item, I was surprised how good it looked. It has everything you need if you’re just starting to use the airbrushing method. I think it’s worth the money and I am looking forward to ruining another model. Great buy.

Bought this as my first Airbrush set up . Havent actualy put any paint in it yet but have tried it to make sure it works . All looks good . Packaged well and came within 5 Days of ordering . Two Airbrushes look good but I havent used one before so not realy sure what to expect . I priced up a few start up kits and this was probably the cheapest for the kind of set up i researched . Just got back into modeling after a good few years and this looks like the best way to get good finishing results . Very Happy with the product .

just arrived today and ive only used it for 1hr but in that hour it ran perfectly and as this is my first airbrush and compressor ever i know i cant be expected to be a expert but from the small amount of time i have had this item it seem to be able to do the job i bought it for which is scale modelsso i would recomend this to anyone who is considering moving from brushes to airbrushes i would say buy this as u cant fualt it for the price its a nice compact size and the presure can be ejusted very easliy i didnt even need to instruction manual

The delivery was absolutely fantastic but the packaging let me down. it was delivered with a original box with no extra sheet of packaging to cover it up apart from a fragile tape. the airbrushes that comes with it are just ok.. does the work just fine but there is some thing everyone should know about it..#this thing gets pretty damm hot like literally u can burn urself so please at al cost use precautions. dont use it around the infants and the compressor likes moving around coz of the vibration unless its bolted on something.. apart from that a good piece of kit i must say.. acceptable for the beginners but not for someone who is looking for some professional work.

Its value for money and thus all comments should be taken with that consideration in mind. Again the cost of all of this is less than the price of one high value airbrush.If you are starting out then this is the pack needed to get you off your feet without the worry of conking hundreds of pounds worth of gear. the compressor is reasonable and thankfully relatively quite so you will not drive your neighbours and loved ones to distraction when using it. The compressor also turns off when your finger is off trigger so that helps. I did however find that over time more moisture seeps into the mix, but again at this price i cannot complain and with a bit of after care its possible to tweak this out and get excellent results. Pressure control is limited so have had to adjust spraying technique to compensate.airbrushes supplied were ok. They do not purport to be more than they are and as I said if your getting used to duel action then why not start with these as you can go through the motions of being a noob without that pressure of concern of breakage. Again down to learning the brushes their limitations as well as the compressor etc you can achieve great results with this package. A year on I can say that more money invested in the airguns etc but i am glad that my foray started here as i never thought it possible to paint with this detail …. just take the leap to air gun as your chalk, brushes, pencils and pens suddenly seem antiquated and limited.

Easy to use, great and quiet product!I bought this to get back into airbrushing. Something I'd done using an automotive compressor and was initially a bit sceptical. But a great buy for beginners or pros and although the airbrushed supplied aren't perfect, they can be used at all level with control.I'm also shocked at how little noise it actually makes- you can have a conversation whilst it running!Great product all around!

It's easy to use however sometimes it gets blocked but suppose that's part n parcel of it
