From experience, it will cut glass tiles but don't expect a clean cut. The edge shatters and chunks break off as it cuts. Since its glass you cant hide the edge with grout because you see the cut through the glass.

is this suitable for glass bottles

Indeed, I bought mine for just this purpose. Word of warning, go slow, it takes a little practice to get a nice clean cut. Your first ones will probably leave little chips on the outside of the bottle

Is this appropriate for cutting brick slips?

My honest answer is that i do not know, however as long as the blade does not dry out and the thickness of the slips do not exceed the max height of the blade i could see no problem. I considered the tool for one job and throw away but it is better than that. The body is plastic so dont expect too much. Hope this helps.

Will this cut slate roof tiles?

I can’t see any reason it wouldn’t, though I have not tried 😊
