This is quite a sturdy product which replaces the two separate extensions that were starting to make me nervous. I like the fact that each socket is individually switched but I would have liked a USB socket or two as well. The unit can be mounted on the wall if desired but I’m happy with it just on the floor.

An excellent product,in my view.

Competitively priced 8 way gang. This was bought to replace similar Belkin product on which the main and only power switch cracked and broke. The individual sockets are individually switched making it simple to control power to individual devices and the whole gang it fused and has a single surge protector for the whole device whose operation is indicated by a discrete green light on the top of the gang. The device itself and each of the 8 sockets is 3 pin and earthed. The device itself is made of ABS plastic, simply constructed and each of the 8 switches (one for each socket) has a positive feel when thrown (something that the Belkin's single power switch always lacked) and the position of each switch makes it impossible to operated a switch accidentally (whereas it was notoriously easy to knock the Belkin's switch and thereby deprive power to all the connected devices). The sockets are arranged facing outwards on both sides. The only minor drawback is that each socket it not sufficiently offset from the corresponding opposite ones. This means plugs with an output above the earth pin can obscure the two sockets opposite. Finally it's dark colour makes it unobtrusive - ideal when used for home computer or AV equipment where a white device would stand out. The only downside is the black switches which can sometime be a little difficult to locate in low light conditions. Overall an excellent buy.

This is a great extention socket bord that can be used indoor or outdoors.Well constructed and great value for the money.
