Brabantia Ironing Board Cover Replacement Felt Pad, White, 135 x 49 cm

The missus was very pleased with this.

My mum asked if I could get her some new padding for her iron board as her other one was worn and the board was evident when ironing. Quick search on Amazon and I found this one and it was a perfect size for her large Brabantia Ironing Board.You receive a large rectangular piece of underlay felt and cut to the desired size for your board. I was pleasantly surprised at how thick this was, it cost £12.75 when purchased.The piece was perfect and didn’t cause any issues with her steam iron. I also purchased a new cover as it seemed the right thing to do, who wants to put an old cover over new padding.

Brilliant just simply brilliant, easy to fit, nice and padded makes ironing smooth and easy. Yes, I admit I am one of these people who still irons even bedding which is why having a longer and wider board is a great investment.

Bought as my board was leaving mesh impressions in my clothes. Nice and thick and easy enough to cut to size. Not exactly like cutting wrapping paper, as quite thick, but that is definitely a good thing and it was still perfectly achievable without any problems, even though my scissors aren't particularly sharp.A niche product, it seems, so props to brabantia for providing it.

Bought for £15, it's too expensive for what it is, but at least you get quality. Out of the wrapping, the 8mm thickness is satisfying to the touch, the surface is soft and it already feels like it will make ironing easier. The pad is hard to cut with normal scissors so I had to cut with a ceramic knife or it would have taken me an eternity, but I guess that's because the material is sturdy. The packaging helpfully instructs you to keep an extra 1cm margin around the shape of your board. Ironing on this (plus a board cover of the same brand) is much easier and more comfortable than on the foam padding and cotton cover that came with my cheap board.

Very pleased with my purchase . I have a large ironing board so was concerned it wouldn't fit . No need to worry it only needed the end trimmed of to fit the shape of my board . It is quite thick but sharp scissors are fine to cut to shape . Would highly recommend

I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could - it's a quality product but fiddly to fit on my size B Brabantia ironing board. It's not shaped for the largest size Brabantia ironing board, but is rectangular requiring cutting to size and shape (which took me three attempts to get right). The instructions suggest that you lay your ironing board face down on top of the felt pad and draw it's outline on the padding, then draw another larger outline 1cm out around the first outline, so you need a marker to do that as a pen or pencil won't do. Cutting the padding along the larger outline needs either a very sharp blade or large sharp scissors. Why couldn't Brabantia have provided cutting guides for each size of ironing board, especially as the price of this product is quite high for what it is?The padding is much thicker than that included with the ironing board so hopefully it'll make ironing easier.

Fit perfectly over our size D brabantia ironing board frame. Minor trimming needed for a perfect fit. Makes ironing a lot more comfortable and better results. Very happy with the purchase.

Innanzitutto adoro i prodotti Brabantia. Ne ho acquistato diversi, mi sono sempre travata benissimo e questo mollettone non è da meno. Dopo un primo doppio acquisto per le assi di casa ne ho comprato anche un terzo anche per mia madre.Questo mollettone è spesso e bello resistente e si adatta facilmente, basta infatti ritagliarlo e renderlo a misura della propria asse da stiro.
