Accurate high quality
The thermometer is quite accurate as you can see in the picture (excuse my poor milk frothing skills). It’s a very good size and fits many milk jugs. I would say the top is quite big and wide so it’s difficult for me to see how my milk frothing is going. The clip was also quite loose. I have to try bend it to get it tighter, but I still haven’t got it to replace where it’s good. You have to stop milk frothing a couple moments before your desired temperature as the thermometer reads slow slowly however that’s just the nature of these thermometers. Overall good quality, recommend it.

Good product
Easy to read and use in steaming milk with the wand on my espresso machine. The red line indicator helps to ensure that I do not over heat the milk and spoil my coffee.

Works well and provides accurate readings consistently
I use this in conjunction with a small milk jug for frothing milk for lattes etc Appears to be very accurate, even when I'm using only a small amount of milk and only covering the bottom ~1-2cm of the probe. Very easy to wipe clean after use and small enough to store atop the coffee machine itself. I would consider this easier to use than a jug with 'built in' thermometer as you can easily see the temperature displayed whilst also trying to hold your angle during frothing.

Works well and accurate temperature readings for analog dial thermometer
Seems to work well - checked calibration at room temperature and boiling point (room temperature is spot on and the boiling point is within a few degrees centigrade of actual boiling). The thermometer I received has a dial style the same as the second and third pictures in the product description: no "China" lettering and instead "Kitchen Craft" in a bigger font a few millimeters higher up. The reason I mention this is because the first picture represents a product that is identical to the Grunwerg model. The dial style and the thermometer construction look, otherwise, exactly the same which makes me think that this thermometer is identical to the slightly more expensive Grunwerg thermometer. In terms of milk frothing I'm getting better results already and I realise that my previous approach (touching the jug to test the temperature) was way off in terms of accuracy and end results. The thermometer needs to be wiped clean. It can't be submerged in water - it is not watertight and this is clear from a brief inspection of the casing. In terms of quality, it's sufficient for occasional (multiple daily use) home use but it won't survive for long, I suspect, in a cafe. That said, my unit doesn't have any of the out of box problems that others have reported: the dial is fixed well to the spindle and the top of the spindle is flush against the plastic dial cover (face of the unit) so there is no obvious danger of the dial falling off. I would recommend the Kitchen Craft thermometer and will certainly buy another one even if this one only lasts a couple of years.

What can you say about a thermometer? It works, lol!

Works, clear indicator for milk froth, useful for people with sensitive hands as I can only hold the body of the milk jug to 50 degrees c before it is too hot for me to hold.
