The Noble Collection Harry Potter Wand in Ollivanders Box

Father Christmas brought this for our 8 year old boy. It was the best Christmas present ever and he is still playing with it. It's the imagination. Out of all the gadgety toys and lego and everything else, this simple "stick" has given him magical pleasure! Constantly. It goes everywhere. It got treated like a lightsabre a few times and got bent so he asked for another one for his birthday. It isn't easy to bend them - they are sturdy - but 8 year old boys can bend anything lol. One thing he loved most about it was the Ollivander's box. The presentation really does make a difference. Each night he would carefully lay it back in its box and fold the gauze over it lovingly. Best present ever. The Ollivander Noble Collection one is the only one to get in my opinion. When his wand got bent we got an "illuminating" one for his birthday and he says it's rubbish - it is rubbish - lightweight and plasticky and nothing like this one - so it's going back and we'll get another Ollivander wand. Be careful what you buy!

After buying this being as it's so cheap, since it is a collectors edition replica and everything, I was very happy when the owl came the next day with my wand. Packaging was fantastic, you really can't beat an Olivander's wand. The wand it self has a nice weight to it, which makes it feel genuine, the box it comes in is very, very good with stickers on the end with numbers on just like in the film. In the box, the wand does look really good and nice and the tassel type things covering it are a nice feature, which also appear in the film and don't look anything like the ones in the picture above, the ones above look purple and tacky. In real life they are much, much better. Upon taking the wand out the box and closely inspecting it, it's not that great looking, and does just look like a piece of wood! Only a true Harry Potter fan will be able to appreciate it! Inside the case, the wand is surrounded by a red velvet type thing, which is really nice and smooth, it's very squishy and add's extra protection when the wand is in it's case. The wand it self looks like and feels like it can take a beating, so it is safe to take it out the box to let people have a "play" with it. -Bottom Line- Great product for a great price, highly recommended, if your looking for a fancy dress prop or a collectors item then this is the one for you. If your looking for one the kids can play with, consider one of the cheaper ones. Can't wait too go to Hogwarts now!

Having read a wide array of (many critical) reviews of the Harry Potter merchandise range, I awaited this wand with some apprehension. While the wand itself is indeed plastic, the gift redeems itself in the lovely and authentic Ollivander's box, with the strip of ribbon waiting to be unwrapped to reveal the wand. The base of the wand has a lovely "wood effect" with carved markings, very nice. My 5-yr old won't put this down - maybe 5yr olds are more tolerant of plastic than us parents? Overall a great gift due to the box it lives in.

Ah, Harry Potter, what can I say? I’ve been a fan since the books first came out and have basically grown up with Harry. I bought one of the illuminating Harry Potter wands about seven years ago and I still have it, but somehow I always fancied the proper replica wands more. They somehow always felt when I picked them up in shops that they could do real magic. Well something came over me and I snapped and bought the wand. It arrived by Prime the very next day and I’ve more or less carried it around since. It’s pleasantly heavy and feels very strong. I actually think that there’s metal running through the core as it sticks to the magnet on the upper frame of my MacBook screen (yeah, I found this out my messing around and tapping objects with the wand!). I’m pleased that it’s metal as it makes me happier to stuff it in my book bag and bring it with me when I go to the library. The quality and detail is fantastic and it looks every bit as real as it does in the movies. I’d say Warner Bros. could have made it better by not putting a little WB stamp near the handle. It’s subtle, but it detracts from the magic somewhat when you’re just sitting about and admiring the thing. Overall, this is well worth buying for Harry Potter fans. It’s durable so I’m sure it would survive any abuse children might subject it to, and it certainly puts up with me chucking it in my bag. It genuinely feels magical and I love it. Now I have to decide which wand to buy next!!

I ordered this wand in the hope that it would ease up my life a little. It wasn’t cheap, but what do you expect when it involves Harry Potter’s own wand!? Eitherway it comes in a very nice sturdy gift box with an elegant sleeve. Though keep in mind that it lacks the metal clips with the wizard’s name on it that is included with other versions and that allow you to place the wand in a collection rack. The wand itself is very sturdy made of a strong material, it obviously saw a lot of action when in Harry’s possession, but it’s structure remains quite solid. Now, the issue with my wand is that none of the spells I tried to squeeze out got me a satisfying result. “Accio dad’s beer” got me my wife’s facial mask. The ‘Auamenti’ spell made it rain peas!. I tried the ‘Lumos’ spell to light up the place several times when my Iphone ran out of power but on the first occasion only a large grasshopper emerged from the tip of the wand. When I tried again it started to shoot popcorn!. Such inconsistent and unexpected outcomes can actually be quite dangerous, so be warned. Therefore I use the wand now mostly for decorative purposes. Maybe I buy another one and use them as chopsticks in Chinatown.

Surprised at the quality and attention to detail. It is made better than I thought it would be given it is a movie prop replica. Arrived neatly packaged in box, and definitely worth it as a gift to any Harry Potter fan.

Baguette commandée pour une Convention HP. Je souhaitais une baguette d'Harry un peu différente que celles que l'on peut voir d'habitude. Celle-ci vient de la Collection "Ollivanders" pour The Noble Collection. Très belles finitions haut de gamme qui collent la réplique du film. UN SUPER ACHAT ! Je recommande pour les Collectionneurs ou pour les fans. La boîte de rangement a du velours à l'intérieur. Elle rappelle les boîtes du magasin d'Ollivanders --- Lui même qui disait que "chaque baguette choisit son sorcier". Là cette fois-ci, on a la chance de choisir notre baguette. L'envoi est soigné et protège bien.

Looks great and authentic. Definitely one of my favourite wands. Received earlier than expected. Came in a box that said “fragile” on it. Then when I opened that box, there was a beautiful box. This one had the wand inside. There was also fabric on the wand to protect it. Came with “The Noble Collection” authentic card to show its authenticity too! Will recommend! 😊
