When I stumbled onto this product, I was pulling my hair out trying to find a product that held my hair in place without having the shiny, hard finish of gel, and the greasy, weak finishes of waxes. The huge following of Suavecito on Amazon UK and US really appealed to me, as did the good video reviews on youtube that I saw, which encouraged me to take the plunge and pay the surprisingly high price for the product. Suavecito strong hold has a scent that some have said to have found overpowering, but I really like it! This is coming from someone who loves wearing perfumes such as joop and CK. My other half also said she liked the scent, which really put me at ease The first time I applied the product, the hold wasn't too great. But this was my fault as I was too conservative with how much I used. The next time I used it I applied more (about the size of a fingertip, and more to touch up if needed). Rubbing my hands together until the pomade melted, I rubbed it into the front and back of my hair, and combed it through. This is by far the best hair product I have ever used! It holds my hair firmly in place whilst maintaining the CRUCIAL benefit of being able to run my fingers through and restyle easily. This does add a little shine to your hair, but it is a subtle shine and not a greasy look which I have grown to like. Perhaps the best thing about this product compared to waxes/gels is that it is water based, and washes out so easily. The morning after applying wax, I would get out of the shower to have thick, slightly greasy hair which felt as if it still had product (albeit leftover, unuseful and unusable product) in it. Not with suavecito. My hair feels nice and clean the next day after only a rinse with water, a great bonus. I am well and truly sold with this product. I highly recommend it. A point I must make is that my product arrived with a damaged container, a fairly large crack at the base. This worried me as I feared the product had dried out at the bottom. This would ordinarily lead me to knock off a star for the overall experience, HOWEVER, the seller, yakwax, displayed outstanding customer service by quickly dispatching a replacement, whilst allowing me to hold onto the damaged container. If anything, I would add on a star to the 5 star rating, but since I cannot, 5 stars will suffice along with a strong recommendation to try this product despite the fairly high price.

This is an awesome hair product. I rarely write reviews, let along one about a hair product but thought I'd try to help anyone who was in my position. I have think, straight hair and no matter what I try it does it's own thing. I usuaully have to resort to hard gel which looks naff anyway - but cremes, putty, clay etc would never work. This stuff is great. You wet your hair slightly and then apply it, simply by rubbing into your hands and brushing through your hair. The style, ideally with a comb. It holds your hair very well without having to apply too much. You can spend a good while styling before it 'sets'. It does set reasonably hard but not as hard a gel and does look quite natural. It smells nice and is NOT oily or greasey. It washes out very easily, with minimum shampoo too which apparently can be a problem for non water soluable pomades. It can also be 'reactivates' by just wetting your hair slightly, perfect if the morning after you haven't had chance to have a shower but don't want to leave the house with 'bed head'. Honestly, if you're searching for a haird product, this is it.

Love it! Fantastic, masculine, just of the shower scent, easy to comb through, easiest pomade to wash out! The hold it great, will easily last the day, but it has had the tendency to need re-combing to keep the hight up. However, it feels so light on your hair its like using hair spray. Will take to re-combing OK as it does dry out too much, but I always make sure to wet it slightly first and then it re-sets without any fuss. The shine is OK, but if you want really high shine, the only was will be to use a oil based product like Dax Wax - High & Tight: Awesome Shine or Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade 85 g . Though for a waterbased product it's a fairly decent shine, but it must be applied to damp hair to make the most of it. Overall, if you want an easy to use product that you don't need to worry about then this is for you.

Brilliant product. Firm and hard enough for hair styling. And it is easy to clean and wash.

This is pricier than most supermarket products, but it's also far better. You can apply damp or dry and the hold is great, without any crunchiness. The advert states it's 'medium shine' which is spot on; it's not matte but neither is it greasy. Perfect for modern takes on classic styles. It's also properly water soluble making it easy to rinse out or clean your hands after application. The pomade is lightly fragranced with a nice scent that sits between 'barbershop' and 'shower gel', so it'll go well with many modern men's colognes. All in all, an ideal product for quiffs, parts or slickbacks, and Suavecito will be my go-to for now.

Really good product, holds well and doesn’t look greasy. However the price is getting silly. I last bought this product for £11, it’s now almost £15! Whilst some may be happy to pay that, I’m going to stop elsewhere; other websites are selling the product for less than half the price currently listed here!

I adjusted my review to 5 stars. I was using this on dry hair ehivh was not effective. With damp hair, this pomade has a excellent strong hold. Everything else is great. My old review: "I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. My only negative about it is that its not as strong of a hold as I hoped for. But I guess it makes sense for a water-based pomade. Everything is great: easy to wash out, smell is okay, not greasy. If you wanted a very strong hold and easy to wash like I did, I think there really isnt much out there. Just use this for day to day and a wax pomade for the times you really want a strong hold."

Eine der besten Pomaden die ich habe. Hält alles an Ort an Stelle ohne das Haar sonderlich zu beschweren. Lässt sich sehr gut in den Händen verreiben um diese ins Haar einzuarbeiten. Zudem lässt sich diese Pomade auch sehr gut auswaschen. Ich bin vollstens zufrieden und habe immer welche auf Vorrat.

Dokładnie tak jak głosi opis - silna stylizacja i jednocześnie odżywienie włosów. Trzyma 8+h nawet moje włosy, gdzie z reguły żartowałem że do stylizacji potrzebuję użyć super glue. Łatwo zmywa się wodą, pozostawia włosy świeże jakby dopiero po myciu. 10/10
