Does The Job
Initially bought this to spray moss killer onto my tarmac driveway, which it did very competently. Seems to me to be well designed, robust and well made. I note other comments about difficulty of assembling the hose and sprayer wand, personally I did not have any bother at all, but then I have always been quite savvy when it comes to mechanical assembly, but I can appreciate it may be a bit confusing for anyone who isn't. The only main thing to be sure of is that the flexible hose is pushed onto the white connectors fully so some force is needed pushing it on. This done, the screw-on unions work properly to make a seal and I had no leaks as others have reported. I agree that the standard wand is a bit short, so next on the shopping list would be the extension wand. Just as note, after use, I empty and rinse it out, put a bit of plain water in, pump and flush the sprayer through to clean it and then tip the container to let air through to dry. Hope this helps!

A very good product
I am very happy with the product. Living in a middle town house the other option to water the front garden is to drag the hosepipe through the house! We do not have an outside tap on the front and it would be very costly to install one. The sprayer is a very good alternative. Although the force is not as strong as a hosepipe it does the job very well. I don't have to trample through the plants as I would with a watering can as I can stand on the path and spray. maybe the tube could have been a bit longer but it is good anyway. It is brilliant to reach hanging baskets too. It is also better than a watering can for feeding the plants. I would recommend this to anyone. I have also used it to clean my bike.

Good new toy but watch your back
I have had a smaller Hozelock Sprayer for 5 or 6 years and have found it totally reliable. I wanted a new one for a new garden which needs some weed treatment. When it arrived and I opened the package there was the sprayer in its vacuum sealed clear plastic bag but where were the fittings? I had a short panic before I shook the sealed container and heard the reassuring rattle of something inside. Included with all the fittings there is a small multi-lingual instruction leaflet with some very small pictures of the various fittings but you will have to use intuition and common sense to assemble the sprayer because the leaflet gives no legible clue how to put the pieces together. As for the operation of the sprayer it is just as I expected. Very easy to use, a few pumps of the lever on top to build up the pressure and then you are ready to go killing. I have a couple of small gripes however. The hose and spray head is very similar to my smaller unit. The hose section is long enough for any use I will put it to but the hard plastic 'wand' at the end of the hose is only a few inches long. I would have liked this to be extendable so that I walk upright to spray the weeds in my gravel path. As it is very short I have to walk along stooped over which after a while is pretty tiring on the back. I had not noticed this with my existing hozelock and that is because I have used it primarily for applying soapy spray to greenfly on roses which are knee high to waist high. That sort of spraying needs no stooping. So if you intend to use a sprayer for a lot of underfoot weeds perhaps look elsewhere. My second small issue with it is that the power of the waterspray is not very strong even when the unit has just been fully pressurised. To get a powerful jet you have to reduce the spray head to its narrowest proportions. Again I became aware of this because of the nature of the spraying I was doing. I was trying to stand upright and spray without bending, the only way I could guarantee to hit the target was to narrow the spray head until it was little more than a jet like a hose. Widening the spray head meant that the spray just drifted away and missed the target. Apart from these issues the hozelock is easy to use and I got a shock this weekend when I saw the 7 litre sprayer 'discounted' in Homebase to twice the price I paid for my Amazon purchase. So the price is good.

An excelent Product.
I bought this garden sprayer to spray pre-cleaner on my car prior to washing it, and it works a treat. The item requires assembly which took about 10 minutes following the assembly guide pictures (there are no words). The item is of sound quality and I'm very please with this product for my purposes. I know it states 7l capacity but only recommends 5l. 5l is fine for me so no issue. I think the other 2l is to allow pressurisation of the air space to provide adequate spray time between re-preasurising intervals. If there were no air space then pressurising the container would be very difficult initially and spray time would be very short.

Really useful for washing a muddy dog. Quality item too
This is now an invaluable part of dog ownership for us. It’s really easy to use; efficient and effective in cleaning our Springer spaniel after his daily jaunts. And, by using warm water, he also enjoys it. We went for Hazelock for the quality required and we have not been disappointed

A good product
I bought this to use to clean paths. It is an economical way of dispensing the path cleaner and is very simple to use. I found that the best way to attach the hose to the bottle was to soak the end in hot water before trying to fix it onto the bottle but this was the only minor difficulty I encountered when assembling the sprayer.

Hozelock 7ltr sprayer
Sturdy. Handle good for carrying about as I have no trolley. I needed it to spray weed killer. It has a reasonable spray arm although still need to bend to reach weeds. Spray is very fine. It holds 5ltr I have arthritis so needed a good quality and sturdy product to make life easier to do the job. I am impressed with it

This product is great, but if you need parts like a seal or handle for the spray gun that broke off then don’t count on them. They don’t carry parts and are not interested in helping you. They say just buy a new unit.
