Great product, but work quickly!
Really good product. Sets super quick: ready to sand within 30 mins. Work quickly & only mix the resin & hardener for the amount you can use within five minutes, as it’s easier to handle when first mixed. It goes grainy if you wait too long.

Car body filler for wood.
This stuff is great, it's really car body filler, least it smells the same. Don't mix too much, it goes off quick, best to do small batches to save waste. Sands extremely smooth, doesn't dink like traditional fillers. Highly recommend.

On the fence with this.
Not the easiest of products to work with - tin is awkward to get contents out and the only sensible place to mix with hardener is inside the lid. Yes it dries very hard and so far so good prior to rubbing down but I ended up in a right mess - use cheap throw away tools for applying filler and wear disposable gloves. It may have been simpler for me to buy a new door as I had quite a bit of wet rot and a couple of deep holes so needed 2 x tins - suppose it saved the cost of a door, fitting locks and hinges so all in all worth the money and effort. Time will tell.

A totally reliable product.
I’ve used this stuff many times over the years. It always does a good job, especially when used with their wood hardening solution. Sometimes you can’t just cut a piece of rotten wood out and replace it (my T&G outbuilding a case in point). That’s when this stuff comes into its own. You have to be properly prepared before you start applying it and be ready to work quickly or you’ll have a block of hard wood filler on a mixing tray. Do that and the results are terrific. It applies well, stays where you put it and sands to a beautiful finish. It adheres well to itself as well if you find that you’ve not quite got it right first time. I’ve always used on wood that will be painted and not attempted to colour match with the wood itself. It takes the paint well and the repair becomes indistinguishable from the rest.

Best, won’t use anything else.
Brilliant wood filler. Sets solid yet easy to sand. Takes a little practice to get the filler and hardener quantity right as this affects setting time etc.

Good Product - Takes Trial and Error Mixing
The tin is only half full when you receive it. I ordered two on separate occasions, both were the same. It was sufficient for my purposes, with plenty of hardener remaining when the filler was finished. Finding the right mix to allow time to apply was a bit trial and error. The instructions aren't precise (golf ball sized resin, pea sized hardener). If you're mixing more or less than that specific quantity, it's hard to judge. Mixing is also imprecise "mix until consistent colour". Not that simple with white resin and white hardener! Even then, the mix went off quite quickly (5-10 minutes). That said, it did what I wanted and the final finish and durability were great. I'd use it again.
