I've got these things everywhere in my house!!! They seriously do work. A few years ago I had work done to the house (new windows and external thermal cladding) and since then the house has become quite air tight causing a build up of moisture and subsequently black mould. Frequent scrubbing with mould and mildew remover wasn't enough to eliminate the problem. I've now got these in each room affected and I've noticed a significant reduction in the production of mould. Unfortunately, they can't work miracles and as the mould needs completely eradicating for it not to come back, certain rooms will need stripping and redecorating to completely get rid of the problem. These however, are working a treat and I've no new growths since there installation. As they don't take batteries you can put them anywhere! They are quick and easy to maintain and empty/refill. I like the fact you can actually see them working and I've noticed a significant reduction in the need to wipe condensation from my windows daily! The refills last about 30 days in the dampest rooms (bathroom/kitchen) and upto 70 days in rooms not so damp (bedrooms/lounge) refills are readily available to purchase either from amazon or I've since noticed in certain supermarkets. I used these for more than 6 months and I wouldn't be without them now

These tablets work well and are pretty well priced. The subscribe and save is great for the winter months as i'm perpetually forgetting to order them. That being said, they're certainly not a solution alone for real damp scenarios. Our flat is pretty damp in the winter so we use these in conjunction with an electric dehumidifier to keep it under control. Adding these to the rooms means that if we forget to switch on the dehumidifier (or don't want to because it's too noisey) for a few days, the humidity stays down to reasonable levels. Word of warning: This may be obvious, but my flatmate knocked over her unit on the white carpet. The liquid produced by these things is very, very blue. And now our carpet is also very, very blue.

I purchased these to help with the condendation in my bathroom. I was a little sceptical at first as they seem to good to be true when the alternative is to purchase an expensive electrical dehumidifier or pay to have a new extractor installed. I bought these and the original unit to place them in. Setting it up was easy, you simply open the unit pop it in and its ready to go. I started to notice the difference after a day or two. It is visible in the bottom of the unit as the moisture is absorbed in to these replacement blocks and the excess water starts to fill up in the bottom. I did notice a difference in the air quality in the bathroom and the concendation seems to clear more quckly. The unit is easy to clean and can be washed out with water and dried ready for the new refill block This item is good but it does not work miracles, i will continue to buy more as it does make a huge difference but for me the only way to completly fix my condensation issues will be to buy a new extractor fan. I used this in the dampest part of the house and was pleased with the results, If you are looking to purchase it for a smaller space of some where less damp i think this would be perfect for you.

Bought these to go with the Unibond Aero 360 de-humidifier for my daughters room at Uni. There was so much damp in her room that everything was always smelling musty and an electric de-humidifier was not an option due to space and cost (uni students have very limited funds!).It started working almost immediately with little blue droplets appearing at the bottom of the unit within 10-15 minutes. Since using this, there's been a significant improvement in the level of dampness in her room (the damp musty smell has gone too) and I've been so impressed that I've since bought one for my own home. They can last up to 3 months however I should point out that in my daughters room they only last about 1 month (but she does have severe dampness to contend with) whilst mine seems to last about 6-7 weeks before needing replacing. I shall definitely continue to buy this product.

I bought this as my bedroom window was suffering from really bad condensation. My husband also has asthma and I had to try something to make the air a I have only had this a week and I've had clear Windows the last 3 days. I know some people have not not these things are any good. But to me it just sits on the window sill and quietly does its job. Also I'm no longer waking up in the morning with a blocked nose. I don't know how it does it and quite frankly I don't need to know. I will be making sure I'm stocked up on the refills so that I always have one of these on the go. So far in a week the device had collected about 2cm of water. So it's clearly doing something. I have also bought the smaller one for my cupboard where I keep bedding & towels. I had a wee musty smell in there. The device in there is collecting drops of water too. I will be buying a couple of more of the aero 360's for around the house. I'm glad a got these & not paid loads more for a mains powered one

These absorber tablets seem to work quite well, and have reduced the humidity in my bedroom somewhat from about 89% - no kidding - to about 60% or even less, so at least I don't feel like I've been swimming in my bedroom any more (my clothes were always so damp - ugh!). The downsides are that the tablets were broken in several pieces on delivery, so an absolute pain to try inserting them into the container - I couldn't be bothered to ask for a refund/exchange, I just bought my next lot from a high street hardware shop. I'm also wondering whether it would be more economical to buy an electric one instead, but then there's a bigger outlay at the beginning, so swings and roundabouts really. Depends how much you want to spend, but these are good enough if you only want something fairly cheap to start with.

Amigo, si no quieres gastarte un paston en un deshumificador, esta opcion te va a encantar. Es barato y funciona de maravilla. Lo tengo en un habitacion (la de mi hija) en la que en pleno invierno "chorreaban" agua las paredes por la condensacion, y una vez puesto el "cacharrito" desapareció el problema. Lo unico que les reprocho es que si no recuerdo mal, una pastilla podria durar, dependiendo del grado de humedad, entre 2 o 3 meses. Ni de coña. Mes y medio como mucho. Tengo mucha humedad, si, pero dos meses no aguanta ni loco... Ojo con las instrucciones. Por lo visto las pastillas son bastante toxicas. Se han demanejar con mucha precaucion... y si tienes crios pequeños o mascotas... no se. Queda hermeticamente sellada la pastilla en su caja, pero aun asi...
