Purchased as a gift for my pottery making son, he loves this book, he says it has some great ideas which he is trying out !

This book is written with detailed but clear sections on experimental techniques for the more adventurous potter. I can’t put it down, it is so fascinating. It has expanded my potting knowledge and revolutionised the way l work on my pots. There are so many new things l now want to try. I only wish there were more hours in the day.

Love this book. I have been involved in pottery and ceramics as a practitioner for 20 years and can honestly seen nothing like this elsewhere. Colourful and well set out there is a good balance between text / descriptions and Great examples of all the decorative possibilities and great use of Artists working methods and techniques. This book gives insight into the synthesis of artistic & designs process from drawings, prints / paintings to the clay surface and ceramic transformation. This book provides plenty ideas for those at the start of their ceramics journey and for practicing ceramicists alike.

I want to use it with fresh clay and plan ideas before Christmas.

This book is a great resource for anyone working with clay. It is an indepth look at surface design. A must for your library.
