I'm truly converted
Well, colour me impressed. I never for a second believed that it was possibly to cleanse my persistently greasy hair with conditioner - how wrong I was. I have super fine low density blonde curly hair, and after years of straightening I've finally decided to embrace the curls. After reading the blogs of (many) curly girls, this co-wash seemed to repeatedly appear as the best all-rounder, and while I haven't tried any others, I can't find a single fault with this. It smells great, it's reasonably priced, the quantity is large making it great value, it's soft and smooth and easy to scrub my scalp with. But most surprisingly, it really truly does leave my hair feeling clean. I'm shocked! Edit, I don't really use this anymore just because I made the decision not to cowash. If I was still cowashing, I would use this

Amazing product, especially for the price
This stuff is absolutely brilliant. I’ve tried several other brands of cowash and none of them actually remove build up from my hair like this, whilst also leaving it soft and conditioned. Worth noting that it also doesn’t ‘sit’ heavy on my fine hair. I used it for a year when first transitioning from dyed straightened hair to my natural 3A curls. It worked so well, though I strayed away from this for a while trialling a few other products out, but I’ve come back to it and the changes have been so noticeable. My hair never grows beyond my shoulders and it is actually starting to now! It also lasts for months, (maybe less if your hair is really thick and long) and if you’re running out you can use a little dollop and dilute it in your hair with the shower water so it can spread further - it still really does the job. Well worth the price.

Great for wavy hair
This co-wash works really well for my long 2a type hair. Washing with it feels a bit weird as it doesn’t lather like a shampoo, but it does clean the hair. The product is easy to use and smells lovely. After ‘washing’ and rinsing my hair I add a few drops of oil to the conditioning stage. Leaves hair clean, moisturised and defines the waves.

Leaves my hair feeling light and silky
This co-wash has given me fantastic results on my thick, coarse hair. It makes my hair feel really light and allows it to curl beautiful with no frizz. I've loved how my hair has looked and felt since using this. It also was very kind to my scalp, on which I have moderate psoriasis. No irritations and actually seemed to reduce my flakes. However I'm deducting one star for a number of reasons. First of all I feel it's quite pricey for how much you get. The tub looks big but it barely lasted me a month even though I only wash my hair every second or third day. Maybe I was using too much of it, so if I order again, I'll reduce the amount I use and update this review to report my findings. Secondly I find the fragrance nauseating. I have a very sensitive nose so this is somewhat on my part also, but I found the product became more pungent the deeper into the tub I got. It is a nice smell but a bit too much at 7am when my senses are barely awake. Overall I found it to be a great product and would recommend.

Cleans fine hair without weighing it down
I bought this for my wavy, fine hair after seeing recommendations on reddit. I have previously used Noughty's co-wash, which was alright, but I found it too heavy and oily for how fine my hair was. My hair tends to get greasy within 24-48 hours of washing, and as its fine it really shows on my head. However!! This stuff - a miracle. It doesn't keep oil away for any longer than any other method of washing (at least for me), but being able to use this and it being so gentle and detangling (plus, its as quick as a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner so great for early starts) really helps keep it longer between washes. I was washing my hair every 1 or 2 days, double shampooing each time, but I now use this every 2-3 days and wash it with shampoo once every week-week and a half. This has made it so much more manageable, without weighing it down.

Would buy again.
I converted to cleansing conditioners about 10 years ago and would never go back to normal shampoos (strip your hair of all moisture) and conditioners (leave your hair soft, floppy and flyaway). I used WEN cleansing conditioner for several years but it's expensive so thought I'd try some others. Started with Pantene's Co-Wash Conditioner and I'm very happy with it but you can't see how much is left in the bottle and whether you've managed to get it all out. So, tried this 'AS I AM CoWash' as it's in a tub and you can easily get the last dregs out (I'm Scottish and thrifty!). It's got a mild pleasant Coconut fragrance, it lathers up nicely (but not too much) when you rinse it out with water, it's left my hair easy to comb through when wet and it left my hair soft, smooth and manageable. It's not just for those with curly hair- mine is thin, fine and flyaway with a slight wave. It stops my fine hair going all flyaway but it doesn't leave it heavy or greasy like some conditioners do .I find that, with my hair type, I never have to use a separate conditioner with these Co-Washes as they really do cleanse and condition in one go.

The pack includes three 16oz bottles, providing an ample supply for regular use. Pros: - Coconut cowash formula: The conditioner is enriched with natural coconut oil, which helps to hydrate and moisturize the hair, leaving it soft and manageable. - Cleansing properties: The cowash effectively removes dirt, buildup, and impurities from the hair and scalp, providing a gentle cleanse without stripping away natural oils. - Conditioning benefits: The product doubles as a conditioner, delivering deep hydration and improving the overall health and appearance of the hair. - Suitable for curly and coily hair: The formulation is specifically designed for textured hair types, enhancing curl definition and reducing frizz. - Pleasant scent: The coconut fragrance adds a pleasant aroma to the hair, leaving it smelling fresh and tropical. Cons: - May not be suitable for all hair types: While the product is ideal for curly and coily hair, individuals with fine or oily hair may find it too heavy. - Requires thorough rinsing: Due to its rich and creamy texture, it's important to ensure thorough rinsing to prevent any residue buildup. Overall, the As I Am Coconut Cowash Cleansing Conditioner provides an effective and nourishing hair care solution. It caters to textured hair types, offering both cleansing and conditioning benefits. With its coconut oil-infused formula, it promotes hydration, softness, and improved manageability. However, individuals with fine or oily hair should consider their specific needs before using this product.

Like how it easy it makes to wash my hair when I am very busy to do a complete wash. It keeps the hair hydrated and has good smell.

I love this for my coily curls. I have super dense, fine strands, so I can barely get to my scalp with this. So, I dilute it with water in one of those bottles with a pointed top (like you use for ketchup at a picnic) and use the nozzle to get this to my scalp. Then, I use my fingers to agitate my scalp & let the product flow over my strands. I don't need to use conditioner after using this to wash. I follow with SheaMoisture JBCO Strengthen leave-in or Coconut Hibiscus leave-in.
