Well I have to take my hat off for these socks. Have tried and tested them and they are very good at doing what they're intended for. I have worn them on their own many times now on walks of roughly 8-10 miles. I don't usually wear a combination of two socks, thus using this as a liner. So have only used them on their own. After my walks I take them off and check for moisture. Their wicking abilities are very good, there is only slight moisture within the sock after my walk, which is to be to be expected. I test it by letting them air for a minute and then feeling how cold the sock is. This gives an indication of how damp they are. And I'm pleased to say there is little dampness to them, bust most importantly my feet are dry. So they do transfer the sweat from your feet into the sock. And they do this very well. The sock is around the same thickness as a regular black cotton dress sock. The feel to them is quite nice when worn, they are soft on the foot. And most importantly I have had no foot complaints whatsoever whilst wearing these. No blisters, no rubbing or friction to be had. The size 7/11 socks I ordered did at first feel a tad as though they will be slightly on the tight side and so unwearable. But after a few minutes with them on the slight tightness went, they were comfortable and left all but the slightest indentation on my skin from the hold up elastic at the top. I've ordered a variety of these type of socks and so far these have been my favourite to wear on my walks. All in all a decent sock with great wicking results. Comfy, can be worn on their own and having tested these on numerous occasions I would also say they are hard wearing and will last.

Excellent socks, feel amazing, highly recommended.But not for you if you are looking for thick socks, these are very thin, but perfect if that's what you require.

Great thin walking socks

They're not as thick as I thought but they've lasted a long time and they're very comfortable. In fact, they're as thin as normal dress socks but defiantly far more durable.

Bought for my husband. He wears them every day either on their own or under thick socks in winter. I have bought other brands but they have become very expensive. I saw these and bought one lot to see if they were OK and have now bought another lot as they such great value.
