Very nice machine ans sturdy also was delivered promptly
The machine looks great but haven't had a chance to use it yet as the instruction booklet that was sent unfortunately had no English in it it had four Languages but no English and the guarantee was also in a foreign language so could you please send one in English so I can get started please . Singer 2250 simply super
This is the first sewing machine I've ever owned, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's so easy and simple to use (though some of the printed instructions for things like 'How to do buttonholes' might just as well have been written in Chinese, for all the clarity they imparted! Found a simple video on YouTube, and amazingly managed to do buttonholes!) I hated sewing at school, and I never got the hang of using a sewing machine, so I was a bit wary that this might be a bit like me attempting rocket science, and a waste of money. But I'm glad I took the risk.

Nice and easy one!
Nice and easy sewing machine and my mum loved the old vintage version of Singer Sewing Machine ( all her life )but this one was even easier for her and we are very happy with this product

So easy to set up and use. Plus, the supplier contacted me to let me know that there would be a delay in receiving it as it was out of stock and sent a gift to apologise (and it really wasn't a long delay anyway).Overall, if you're thinking of buying a sewing machine, I don't think that you will find better than this one!

Not a toy
This product is an entry level sewing machine capable of basic stitches, which is exactly what I needed. My imtermediate level toyota was full of tension problems so I wanted to switch to something really simple. If you use cheap fluffy thread then the sewing machine can't really cope and tangles like crazy inside but if you use a good poly or polycotton thread (gutermann is my preference) then it's a total dream to work with.On another note I bought this from Cooper's and then seen the company on Watchdog the next evening for horrendous service and rubbish machines but they were amazing from start to finish. Any problems I brought up were resolved quickly and curteously so I guess they HAVE pulled their socks up. 5 stars on the seller and the machine.
