Great mouse!
The scroll wheel on my old Microsoft Basic optical mouse decided to stop working and to start preventing the normal function of the right click button so I had to buy a new one. At first I started looking at Microsoft mice again but, as I kept browsing, I remembered that a friend of mine not long ago ordered a Razer Deathadder Elite and was quite happy with it. It’s also worth mentioning that I’ve had a look at this mouse before at one time (don’t think it was the Elite though) since it kind of reminded me of that great Intellimouse series Microsoft put out years ago which I loved (but, sadly, they stopped making them). It’s worth mentioning that I’m a claw grip user and had problems adjusting to the shape of it at first, but I think that was only because all the mice I’ve used in the past had their right side not as round as this one’s which provided enough gripping space for my ring finger (necessary for lift-offs). I actually thought about returning it after the first day but kept sticking with it, even though the thought of returning it stayed with me. After two and a half weeks I can say that I got used to it and quite like the shape of this mouse. The materials used seem to be of good quality. The sensor on this thing is amazing! I really love the way it tracks even when slightly lifting it off the pad. It glides easily and is precise. The shape of LMB and RMB is perfect for palm grip, good for fingertip grip and decent for claw grip. The scroll wheel is perfectly positioned, the rubber on it gives good grip, its feedback while scrolling is just perfect and the RGB lighting in it is a nice bonus. The logo also has RGB lighting and you can select the colour and/or effects for both of them or separately. The cable is long enough and it’s braided which should provide enough longevity. The only reason this mouse got 3 stars instead of 5 is that the clicking mechanism on the LMB (left mouse button) randomly becomes mushy instead of being responsive and “clicky”. My friend has the same problem on the RMB. I guess they got greedy and went for a cheaper part for that. Not exactly what I would expect from a mouse this expensive or, for that matter, from a company like Razer but they all do it at some level. You might not be so unlucky and get one that actually works the way it’s supposed to. Update: I think the left mouse button problem is solved. Haven’t experienced it in a while so I guess that all it needed was a bit of usage, kind of like a breaking in period. Something else I can add to this review is that I changed the mousepad (got the Razer Firefly Hard Surface as a birthday gift) and it greatly improved the tracking on this mouse. It’s also much easier to move it around on the Firefly, it’s almost like it glides freely on it. Another thing to mention is the two buttons on the side of the mouse which changed my view on mice in general as they’re a must-have, capable of simplifying any task.

easy to get use to
Had this mouse since 2013, not the elite but the classic esports, recently had to purchase this as after nearly 5 years i got my first problem with it. Does some weird double clicking and grip under the mouse is worn where gliding across the mouse mat isn’t as smooth, but also my mouse mat was also old so that could play a part in that. I’ve played csgo since 2015 using this mouse everyday and DMing a lot and only recently had problems, this mouse lasts, easy to get use to, just enough buttons and great software, only problems i’ve had are due to old age and the mouse wheel sometimes to sensitive or not sensitive enough when jumping, but if you are new to PC gaming or just wanting a simple but professional mouse, this is the one for you. Just also note kennyS worlds best CSGO AWPer uses this exact mouse and many other pros do just in case my other points didn’t fully convince you, trust me it’s great price for practically one of the best gaming nice out there

Improvement to the original Deathadder
I had an original Deathadder mouse for 11 years and it still works great and if anything only needs a good clean. However, I decided with the mouse seemingly immune from dying it was time to upgrade of my own accord and I immediately opted for the newest version of the Deathader mouse. I never chose the newest Razer mouse the Viper, which has additional features such as optic buttons and a new cable braid that is supposed to glide very well. Instead I went straight for the Deathadder as I don't believe there is any other mouse out there with better ergonomics for my quite large hand. This Deathadder Elite is even better than the original that served me well for 11 years as it is better with a material that has a gripper matte finish. Additionally rubber textured grips have been added to the sides, the mouse wheel has been improved substantially with rubber grips, an additional two buttons have been added on the top to easily bind DPI settings on the fly and of course it features full Chroma support which looks great paired with the Huntsman keyboard. If this mouse lasts me even half as long as the last Deathadder I'll be extremely happy.

Great mouse, easy to wear out
Bought the mouse about two years ago. - extremely comfy - side buttons are insanely useful, you won’t want to go back to anything with less buttons - the chroma software for editing leds and button mapping is pretty intuitive but can be little intensive on older systems and may cause you to loose some frames - good weight, maybe a little light - lasted roughly two years of quite intensive use, wish it would last a little longer. Eventually the left click wore down, and now it double clicks every time I click. If you bare in mind that you’re only going to get about two years worth out of it, this is a great mouse, and not too pricey.

Long lasting, quality gaming mouse.
Not much to say really, I'm a razer fan boy so I'm biased. I actually bought this for my brother to replace the one he had that had been through the (e-)wars. But I also have one, which I bought in 2017 and gets plenty of use - still going strong, only slight issues are the rubber padding near the thumb came loose so I pulled it off as it was annoying - after cleaning out the gunk I don't miss it and the left click is abit looser than that it used to be so the button can move left to right but it doesn't affect use. The razer synapse software is really good once you set it up properly (i.a. having multiple profiles for different games that automatically select when you start the start)

Best Mouse I have ever had
Have just replaced my first after a minor accident with the hoover and didnt hesitate to replace it with the same make and model, by far one of the best products for gaming I have owned fits my hand perfect not strain in using it, accurate and fast to respond on all surfaces - sometime needs dialing down as to quick. hope all who are looking for a great wired mouse give this a go, gaming design work or day to day use its fantastic wouldn't be without it

The Holy Grail of Gaming Mouses.
Pros - Looks great - Feels super comfortable on hand (may need some getting used to) - Good software engine customization - High quality feel - Price is not bad - Not over saturation with macro buttons unlike other mouses. Simple and effective. Con - Rubber texture on sides will eventually peel off but can easily be fixed with super glue. Overall I would say this is the best gaming mouse in the market, and will be for a long time.

Great gaming mouse
So I bought this mouse as I wanted to upgrade from knock off version which I found on amazon. Upon getting the mouse, it is noticeable that the quality and feel of the mouse is top class. It did not take me long to get used to playing with it as the design is one that is simple and light. The two side buttons are easy to press and easy to find in intense situations while gaming. The customizable options give it that slick feel and look. Overall a great gaming mouse and would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade to a branded mouse such a Razor.

Deathadder V2 is beter!

I love this mouse!
I love this mouse! I have large hands and the mouse feels very nice and ergonomical in my hand. The adjustable DPI is nice for switching between FPSs and other games like WoW or Civilization where I like different sensitivities. Finally, the optical laser or whatever is great. I haven't found a surface it doesnt work on yet, often I just use the arm of my couch instead of a mousepad and it still works perfectly. Great mouse for gaming if you dont need a bunch of extra buttons for your thumb like some have.

Mouse gaming spettacolare
