Top Quality, Value and gameplay
Bought Darksouls Way Back in 2016 as i didn't really have a group of friends that we're all that interested in board games, learnt how to play it within a few play throughs. went out made a group of freinds to play with.the game play is great but rather frustrating when you're always dying but thats kind of the point when it comes to the dark souls series board game or not, so it's right up any dark souls fans alley.the Minitures are of amazing quality and i'd really love to get round to painting them as i've seen how amazing they look with the right colour scheme, but the detail is out of this world especially on the larger titanite demon figure.overall i give it 5/5, if you're willing to put in the time for the set up and learning the Rules for the game you'll have many years of fun with the crazy replayability factor this game offers

Amazing fun but long set up
Once you eventually learn how the game works, it's grand. The models are nice to look at, board is wonderfully built, and the variation to gameplay is almost endless. Only issue I have with it is the set up time and learning process. Each set up will take around 15/20 minutes even if you've already preshuffled the decks, and game time lasts between 2/4 hours, least it did with my mate / partner.Overall though if you have that time spare, fantastic game!

the rules and systems are easy to understand
The board game is fantasic, the rules and systems are easy to understand, the figures are very detailed and good quality, and it's great to play whether you're solo or have multiple players. However, two key points keep me from rating it 5 stars. First, the Gargoyle figure was damaged, its shield arm was broken off and had to be glued back on, so be warned there is a possibility of figures being damaged in shipping. Second, once you unpack all the parts, especially the cards, there is no real decent way to repack them for storage. You kinda just have to keep every separate group of things in its own plastic bag. But aside from that, A+ game.

Best board game available
This is an amazing board game. Great fun for groups and playable single player if you want to really have a tough time. It arrived in no time, was packed well and I have since bought two expansion packs for it as I adore this game. I have done about 5 campaigns with the base set, all of which turned out unique and difficult for different reasons. Once you get the rules learned you will have great fun, just spend time learning and testing rules out and you will have alot of fun here. I have a few house rules I have added to make things a bit extra fun and fair, but all in all it has been a fantastic investment. So much fun!!

Amazing
Very nice implementation of the Dark Souls franchise to board game.Set up requires a lot of space.A game session would typically take longer than advertised.Boss fights are very well implemented.Replayability is high. Each playthrough is unique due to the amount of items and scenarios you can pick/face.

Perfect for any Souls fan
The 'Inner' box was ripped upon opening it so I have no idea how it's happened as the outer box is totally fine. Seen a lot with this issue. But overall the quality of this game is amazing. I have no missing pieces as other reviews seem to state. The card storage is not well thought out tho as they will just end up all over the box 🤣. But overall I'm very happy with this game and can't wait to play some games and DIE.

Worth the money!
The game is really fun, if you have you money and are a fan of dark souls I would 100% recommend, the models are amazing but you will get some bent weapons. The rules can be a bit confusing sometimes but after a couple re-read you'll get it.

Awesome
Brought as a present for my boyfriend who is obsessed with the console games. He loves it, they got the board game spot on, very difficult, and definitely takes longer than the ''average'' 1.5 hours. Takes us a few days to complete the game, I would say more like 3-6 hours. Very good quality pieces and you can paint them if you're into that yourself to add more detail

Fantastic production quality and updated rules
Excellent quality miniatures and components. Added rules like shortcuts, exploration track and encounter scenarios make the game a lot more dynamic.

Great board game translation
What a fantastic boads game. The miniatures are detailed, game tiles are huge and the rules are actually decently written. If you're not used to tabletop games, there are YT videos that can better summarize how to play.A lot of negative reviews seem to complain that this board game is "grindy", but its obvious they haven't played the video game. There are some great house rules you can implement too. I don't use the "if one dies you all respawn" rule as well as separating the upgrade deck into they're corresponding types. The game is great, it's hard, it's grindy, but it's fun. Just like the video game.

Been waiting for years, finally got it - NOT disappointed! awesome game!
*Received the package a couple days before estimate so kudos.*The game came in impeccable condition, everything packaged nice and tight. Minis are gorgeous, (plan to paint them some time soon).*I played the game with a couple of friends, had a 2 player and a 3 player session. My takes are the following:This is definitely NOT for everyone, I can entirely understand the negative reviews around the internet. The game is quite repetitive and grindy. HOWEVER. We had an absolute BLAST (especially in the 3 player game). The advancing, the pacing, the encounters (even though repetitive) are a challenge every time. You have to strategize and play around and even though the encounters are kind of same-y they can feel different every time. Boss (and mini boss) fights are awesome and really convey the feel from the video game. In a fight against the Dancer, even though she was basically (sorry the pun) dancing around, not really dealing any damage, it really keeps you on edge, wondering what's gonna come next, because sadly we couldn't memorize her moves for the life of it.I think that there is a TON of replayability to this, even with the repetitiveness.(found an app that generates random dungeons if you run out of ideas for campaigns or whatever, that includes whatever expansions you've got, and even has enemy and boss scaling and some quest features, so with that we are probably looking at months of weekly sessions..)Definitely going to get some expansions for this though for more variety and challenge. In the words of Yahtzee Croshaw: "The fans will like it!" and I (as a fan) totally agree.side note:The play time on the box is an ABSOLUTE LIE, as it takes way more than the suggested 90-120 minutes.first 3 player run took us about 3.5 hours of net gameplay to finish, so keep that in mind.
