This product was easy to install. Took about 5 to 8 minutes to take old lock out and put new lock in. Put this lock on truck toolbox. Keys kept breaking in old lock, so I decided to get a new one. Fit perfectly and works like it should.

Make sure it fits!
I bought a used toolbox from marketplace and the key was broken in the lock. I bought several locks from home depo/menards/lowes etc. but the latch was too long and would could not close/lock correctly. This was just the size I needed for it to latch and lock. The toolbox is on a trailer tongue and has gone through a few camp trips already. It has held up and no rust or damage so far.I cannot state on how secure it is as we haven't had anyone try to pry it open or force it open.

Poor quality - Do Not Buy
Installed on my tool box but after a few weeks someone was able to pull hard enough to brake the cylinder and box opened up. No tools were used to open it, the latch on cylinder just came off.- Do not buy -

Fit perfect, worked very poorly.
It's size matched the lock it was replacing perfectly. I locked it, and about 1.5 weeks later I couldn't get my keys in, so used a sharp awl to open the dirt curtain, I sprayed a lubicant hoping the curtain would slide better... No it didn't. I used the awl in combination with the key and resprayed. The key would go in but not unlock. I kept wiggling the key until it finally opened... I left it unlocked after that.It's too bad, I would have really liked for it to have worked. Maybe it's a Monday build issue, but it's sure not an issue with this millwrights ability.
