Ventilation valve for HT pipes with corresponding pipe diameter. Pipe aerators prevent the empty suction of siphons (audible glucking) and at the same time the penetration of odour from the sewer pipe. A rubber membrane allows automatic opening of the pipe aerator in case of negative pressure (thus ventilation of the pipe) and automatic closing (due to the resulting pressure equalization in the pipe). This process is done automatically, e.g. when the toilet flush is operated or when using a sink. After the automatic closing of the pipe aerator, the pipe is sealed odour-tight and is only automatically opened again at negative pressure (water drain). The pipe ventilation gives you more flexibility when installing your water pipe: a ventilated pipe requires only 0.5% instead of 1% gradient. With connection lines, only 3 deflections are usually allowed, while with a ventilated pipeline, the number of bends is not limited. An elaborate ventilation line can also be dispensed with.
