Our daughter has dwarfism and is just over 3ft tall and just under 40 lbs. When she was fatigued from walking around the zoo, etc or recovering from surgery strollers worked well for us. But as she got older, and yet not any bigger it just didn't seem age appropriate to keep putting her in a stroller as if she is a toddler or preschooler. She loves this wheelchair, it's perfect for outings when she is too fatigued to walk far or after one of her many surgeries when she needs to be non-weight bearing during recovery.

Thought this was a good deal. My son needed this after getting injured in a football game. After hours on the phone searching for local vendors to purchase or rent a wheelchair, and finding out it could be months to a year before we could actually get one to fit a seven-year-old. Of course, I came to Amazon and was able to get what he needed within three days, so he was able to return to school.

My 7 year old is comfortable and happy in this well built wheelchair.

We purchased this wheelchair for use in a standard residential home. I am a small adult and the wheelchair is small enough to fit through bathroom, doors and bedroom doors without a problem. I am 4 foot nine and weigh 95 pounds.

This wheelchair fits through the Carnival cabin doors if you take off the wheel's hand grips on each wheel. It's now gone on two cruises and we have had no issues. So if you don't want to wait for an accessible room, this chair fits through without the need for folding it up in the hallway and carrying it in. We replaced the back and seat with something more comfortable. I made a plexiglass seat to replace the sling seat that comes with it and added a seat cushion. Also bought a more comfortable back and/or use a different chair's back instead of the back that came with it. It is no longer a foldable chair with these modifications.
