The ring that attaches the ball and rope dislodged completely in about 5 hits sending the ball flying across the room. Looking at how only a few stitches were used to keep the ring in place, it was no wonder why it came off so easily.

My daughters (ages 13 and 9) both seem to like it and they both play volleyball. They did say it takes some getting used to but they both found it comfortable and fun to use. The elastic rope is quite long, which I think is a good thing because they won't accidentally punch themselves in the face when the ball returns.

This practice set is great for those who want to practice on their own in-between team practice, but this is not a substitute for the latter. I got this for my teen daughter who loves volleyball and wants to practice all the time. The kit is well made and is holding up really well. I have not noticed any design or quality problems. However, do not expect miracles from this set, and remember this is just an aid to get you started; the power, force, and feel of a real game situation will not be the same as with this set because the tether and ball wrap will have an effect on the experience. That being said, this is definitely a great way to reinforce the behaviors that are learned in practice, and to build the necessary muscle memory.

My daughter will start playing volleyball soon & wanted something she could practice with at home, her coach suggested somthing like this & I was glad to find it. You use a regular size volleyball but it does have velcro so you can make sure your getting a tight for whatever size you get. Drawstring bag keeps everything handy for when she needs it.

This is a pretty handy invention for those who practice by themselves. You can practice your volleyball serve over and over without having to chase the ball down. My daughter loves volleyball and just finished her second season and this item allows her to practice both her underhand and overhand serves. The Velcro straps wrap around the ball, then you clip the waistband on and just practice away. This will keep her from breaking windows, serving the ball into the neighboring yards, and ultimately enhance her serves.
