These are great filters. They really help with reducing allergens. They fit the unit perfectly so easy in, easy out! They get a lot of the dust we get here every time you open a door. They also help filter out most of my mom's cigarette smoke before it gets to my room.Our apt complex replaces what they call filters monthly, free of charge but these are so good I don’t mind having to pay for them. I would be so miserable, especially in the mornings if it weren’t for these. I’ve used them for years everywhere I’ve lived.They are a little expensive but not my so bad I would sacrifice my health by not using them.

Living in a dusty desert AND a short haired canine leads to all sorts of airborne particles aggravating the indoor environment. Have tried many filters, and none do the job like this other than the same brand (Filtrete) with a lower MPR rating, which almost but not quite reaches the benefits of this one. Total dust settling out on furniture markedly reduced, but more importantly, chronic sinus and post nasal drip symptoms almost completely eliminated. Lasts about 4-6 weeks depending upon weather and wildfire pollution. I decided to bite the bullet and step up to this version and it’s worth the money.

I love the way these A/C filters are made. They keep my air conditioning system, clean and running well. I have purchased this item several times from the seller and it’s always very quick and excellent service. I ordered it last night and they had it here today. Love all the quality air

Been living with cheap filters for years, decided to try these and see of something 10x the price was worth it, in reducing the symptoms of my wife's allergies. I highly doubt it, but we will see. They are also very rigid and slightly oversized for my intakes, so inserting them was unnecessarily difficult.

My husband recently changed our air filters. He used an off brand, mainly because it was cheaper. We could already tell right out of the box that they were thinner and flimsier than the 3Ms. What we didn't anticipate was that, due to the poor construction, they would end up bending and making a whistling sound every time the AC turned on. I ordered the 3Ms and all of the problems went away. No whistling, no bending. I couldn't even tell the AC was on because these fit so perfectly. We'll never go back to an off brand again. I know the 3M filters are more expensive than the others, but the cost is worth it.

I replace my filters every two months because I suffer from severe allergies.This way the pollutants has no change to buildup and possibly clog the filter render it useless.

Works extremely well

I use these as a cheap emergency replacement for HEPA filters: when stacked in series two of these 1" filters reduce the 0.3 micron particles 50-fold (98% arrest, verified with a calibrated particle counter). The 12" size is relatively standard , and fits into standard housings. These Filtretes are odour-free, unlike costly HEPA filters from certain supplies (e.g. IQAir). Now, I wish they costed less (hence 4 stars).
