Chestnut Hill: Heart of Gold
I really loved this book! I find that the Chestnut Hill books are very engaging and well written, and this is my favourite in the series, along with Chasing Dreams. Honey (Felicity) Harper is my favourite character out of the four, and this book is from her perspective. The story kept me guessing until the last moment, and I loved the special bond that Honey made with Minnie! Overall, an excellent book, and well worth reading!

Heart of Gold Review - 5/5
Everyone seems to be writing reviews for the next book in the series, Playing for Keeps, on this item's review page. I don't really understand why, maybe there's a fault with my computer and it's displaying the wrong item or something. Anyway, my review is going to be on Chestnut Hill: Heart of Gold. This is the third book in the series, after 'The New Class' and then 'Making Strides'. It is in the second person, and the main heroine in this book is 'Honey'.Honey is an extremely likeable character, sweet and gentle. Few people are lucky enough to know someone as wonderful as this character seems to be, which makes her seem slightly unrealistic. But as I said, very likeable. It tells the story of Honey and her three bestfriends, Malory, Dylan and especially Lani. They've just come back to their all-girls boarding school Chestnut Hill from their Thanksgiving break, during which Honey's parents told her that her twin brother Sam has leukemia again, and this time its serious. The book is mainly about Honey struggling to get through school while her brother is going through chemo, and how she dedicates her heart and time to Dylan's enemy Patience's new pony, Moonlight Minuet (Minnie). Minnie strains her tendons due to excessive schooling in rain from Lynsey and Patience, and Honey nurses her back to health. This book is excellent, and pulls you right into the world of Chestnut Hill. To me, Chestnut Hill bears a slight resemblance to Queen Ethulberga's school, where horseriding is also a huge part of many students' lives. Only Chestnut Hill is only a high school. All of the characters are fun and you can relate most of them to someone you know in real life. The ponies each have their own personalities, Minnie's being very similiar to Honey's. I love this book. The only negative thing I would ever say about it is in reference to the amount of brand names used. Lauren Brooke constantly uses designer labels in her writing, which goes against her point where Malory is concerned that money doesn't make you happy - she only emphasizes how much difference a fancy label and a few hundred dollars makes. Only bad thing.Definitely buy this book though. Absolutely brilliant, and you will definitely be reading the rest of the series. If you thought this review was good, then please check out my other reviews on CH. They aren't as long as this one, promise!

Same as Team Spirit
The Scheme Team is the same book as Team Spirit with a different cover. I believe the Scheme Team is the American version.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This book kept me very interested. I read it quickly because it has a good storyline especially if you like horses. It is about a girl who loves horses and is at boarding school. Then her friends figure out that she has a twin brother but she didn't want to tell them that because she didn't want them to know that he had cancer. One of her friends figures out that he has cancer and helps her go to the hospital to see him. The story continues on from there. If you like this book then I recommend that you read Heartland, also by Lauren Brooke.
