Not like the original ones form apple, price is quite high compared to the noice canceling and quality that is offered

I’ll admit I mistakenly bought these thinking they were a cloth material like Apple’s ear cups, but I didn’t read all the way that this was a “protein leather” whatever that means. That being said, not terrible. Sound appears to be the same. Only difference is I feel my ears sweating more with these on. So if you’re used to the breathable fabric ear cups, you may want to look elsewhere.

The original ear cushion came with AirPods Max was a bit scratchy. Bought this hopefully it is more comfortable. It solved the scratchy issue, but the pressure around the ear cushion is quite uneven compared to original one which makes it uncomfortable due to the clamping force (no such issue with original one).The cushion opening is also smaller, so it might be uncomfortable for people with big ear who care barely fit whole ear inside it like me.

These replacement earpads are almost as good as the originals. The mesh fabric is very similar texture and color so no one would suspect their not Apple. The foam padding is also very similar, I didn't notice any change in sound quality or noise canceling capability and I consider myself to have a good ear. The primary thing that makes these not as good as the originals is the plastic frame. You can only see it on the inside, but it's a bit rough around the edges in several spots and the fabric is like hot glued to it with some extra drips. That would never fly for an official Apple product.

I was sent a flimsy piece of rubber that covers my existing ear cup? This has to be a joke. I paid $37 for a cheap cover that goes over my mesh ear cup! That isn’t what’s advertised on the listing. Highly discourage anyone from purchasing these!

The sound is completely changed when these are added. I wanted different ear cushions for the gym, and I thought it being leather would be better for sweat. When I compared these to the apple ones, these sound like they are in a bubble. You get what you pay for.
