Nice decorations. My wife loves decorating for Halloween and was very excited for this.She liked the design and the style. The candles are cute and they light up easily. Seem nice for the holiday if you want to make your house spooky

I got these in the "pumpkin, castle, & cat" set & they light up nicely & are made of real wax (but they have no "real" wick/flame to them...they're battery-operated only, which is great & safe for having them around kids!) The "flame lights" in most battery-operated candles still look very life-like & I have quite a few of them now that I really enjoy & these are a great addition to my collection! :)These come with a protective plastic film encased around each of the candles that you can slip off of them if you don't want to leave it on. (It's mostly to protect them during shipping & when you're storing them, so the wax doesn't get scratched/marred.) I prefer to slide off the protective plastic films when I'm using the candles, but perhaps some people like to leave that on to protect the wax & designs on them. It's up to you! :)I especially like the kitty candle with their "devil" ears, lol! I don't want to repeat what other reviewers have said or what's already described in the ad, so I'll just say that I really like them & the "Halloween ambiance" they'll add to my home! And I also appreciate the "Halloweeny" box they came in, which makes them good for gift giving as well. (You can see the "Trick or Treat" box they come in in one of the advertised photos.)I also like that these DO NOT come with one of those "remotes" that some battery-operated candles come with. I find those remotes are just more of an extra added hassle than anything, & they tend to use those "button/coin cell" batteries that aren't the safest to have around children/pets & are more of a hassle to find the "right" one at the store when it comes time to replace the remote battery. So I appreciate that they kept these candles simple with just the on/off switch on the bottom of each candle & no remote! :)

My only complaint with these is that they don’t come with batteries, but I don’t think any of the Halloween candles do so I won’t hold that against them. The candles are somehow made of real wax! If you stick your nose in them they kind of smell like a crayon. But they don’t have a strong scent so you don’t have to worry about your living room smelling like a crayon box. Very cute for Halloween and no worries about open flames, which is a relief especially if you have small children. You can set them up on a timer with the remote control & then forget about them. If that’s not easy decorating, I don’t know what it is. Two thumbs up.

I love LED candles as we have cats that are curious about real candles...These are very nice quality, and the graphics on them are superb. I got the crow, skull and witch designs and they look just like the photos. The light is not really bright, which is superb for halloween decoration. The timer function works great, giving you 6 hours of on time then 18 hours off. The only downside is you have to activate it at the exact time you wish (I mean, it's just flipping the on switch so no big deal).My only gripe is the flicker isn't that realistic. It seems to just be a simple pattern and the luminance doesn't change that much. It would be nice if it were more random, and also brighten as well as dim.

These are really cute candles. They are made of wax, but the "flame" is a battery-operated light, so you can enjoy their spookiness without any risk of fire. There is a warning in the box that they should not be used outside (I assume the wax would melt). They come well-packaged in an attractive box, which can be used for gift-giving or storage. The candles do not come with batteries, and each one needs two AA batteries. You can select "on" or a timer function, which runs for six hours, then is off for 18 hours before starting the cycle again. I will probably just use the "on" choice, but I can see the advantage of the timer too, as you could set them to run each evening. I look forward to using them this Halloween.
