Perfect clear ice
This a wonderful product perfectly clear each time. Everyone loves my ice so much. My family loves old fashions and they love the ice ball, it doesn’t melt or dilute your drink so much or as quick. Also you can tell a difference in the taste of your drink with the clear ice without the chemicals. I had to buy one for my daughter and son in law and one for my son and daughter in law after having drinks with my ice. They love it too. Biggest problem tell us an easier way to get it out once it comes out of the freezer frozen. I’ve even run hot water over and around it. I’m afraid as I get older I won’t be able to get it out. lol

Truly clear ice!
It's a bit of a production to make the ice cubes, but it works. My first batch was odd looking since the inserts didn't match up correctly...the globes looked like a Pokemon ball about to come apart to reveal the monster inside...One trick i tried that made it easier to put the molds in the insulated case is to put a little olive oil around the molds so they could all slide in more easily. After i did that the cubes came out perfectly. Not sure if they call it out in the product description, but it takes 2 days for the process to finish...not a big deal as long as you plan ahead.

Once you try it out.
It takes a couple of tries to figure it out at first. But makes awesome spheres and diamonds! Even the granddaughters are in awe by them.My only advice is put the 3 pieces together; make sure they're good and even; then slowly slide them in all together. Then fill with spring water. I don't use tap water...

Obsessed with clear ice for cocktails
In certain drinks, ice makes a difference. I love this. It works as advertised creating beautiful clear ice. It comes with a storage bag so you can make ahead because it does take 48 hours to freeze a batch. And I usually wait for the water to thaw and refill and refreeze which takes time, since I don’t always have another use for what remains in the ice maker. If I made cocktails at home frequently, I might search for a more efficient method, but for the cost and my needs, this fits the bill perfectly.

Seriously needs a carrying handle
This ice mold is pretty huge. I have a 6’ chest freezer in the garage with plenty of room so I was able to make room for it. It takes 48 hours (per the very limited instructions) to freeze this all the way through. For people with limited freezer space, this might be an issue. The instructions…or lack of…were incredibly vague. There are a few basic instructions on the outside of the box, but no insert at all. I had so many questions that I guess I have to figure out on my own?? When it takes 2 days to get results, trial and error can be insanely tedious. Like, what is the best temperature to freeze (my chest freezer is at -15 and my fridge/freezer is at -2), how long should I wait after removing from freezer to demold, how much water does it need to fill (from my experience, in my pics the pink line drawn is the fill line), should I use cold or warm water when filling, should I use distilled/filtered water or is tap water fine?? The lack of instructions is pretty irritating. I’m aware I can do my own research, but I feel like with something like this I shouldn’t have to scour the internet to find the simplest of tips, especially when the company should have this information themselves. Now about the title, this thing NEEDS a carrying handle. It’s cumbersome, heavy and completely filled with water. And here I am lugging this through my kitchen, needing to open the door to my garage, walking down a few steps and then opening my freezer door. Needless to say, both times I’ve attempted this venture, I’ve been completely soaked. Why can’t they include a very simple carrying handle?? Requiring both hands at all times to carry this beast is a huge oversight. My shirt is uncomfortably moist and I’m irritated about it right now, so I might be more critical than usual. But the ice is mostly clear. I used our tap water, which is slightly on the hard water side, and even with that, the ice is very clear. The sphere shape turned out better than the diamond shape as far as clarity goes. It’s a neat product but it needs some improvement for sure.

Crystal clear spheres and diamonds
This is just what I've been looking for. The mold creates perfectly clear spheres and diamonds. It takes a bit of room in the freezer, and only makes 4 at a time and takes 40 hours, so you just make batches ahead and store in the silicone bags provided.

Looks great in my Old Fashioned!
This product exceeds all my expectations! I finally found a way to make those beautiful clear ice balls. The shape is pecfectly spherical, and my wife loved howthe diamond looks in her drink. A little hard to remove the mold, but overal it is great.
