The HTS15 transfer switch allows for smaller & quieter generators to be used. If you have the HTS15 installed only on your gas furnace, it would allow you to only need a generator large enough to handle that load. Nice switch for using smaller generators to power household circuits
This does requires a decent understanding of electrical circuits and some forethought based on your generator’s capability. But, with clear instructions and responsive customer service the installation will provide a safe method of suppling 120v of power from an inverter generator to a couple of 120v household circuits.In my case, this dual manual transfer switch enabled my inverter generator to easily power a gas furnace blower (controlled by a nest thermostat), a fridge and some led light fixtures. Using the switch provides a more effective use of small generators by isolating 2 critical circuits in your breaker box with a single 10 or 12 gauge extension cord. My only wish is that the unit was wired with solid core (instead of stranded) wires.Installation note: if using a floating neutral generator (like the Honda eu2200i) follow the directions where the neutrals are NOT switched. My furnace would not work unless I did this for my generator.

Easy to install, detailed instructions were good
I purchased this generator switch to provide power to 2 circuits in my kitchen. We wanted to have power to the refrigerator and power to one additional AC outlet in the kitchen. Installation was easy. One thing unique to this switch is that it has wires to switch both the hot and the neutral. Depending on your generator you may need to follow the additional instructions included for wiring this switch if your generator has a floating neutral.

That was really easy to do and worked out better as u can ...
I ordered 2 double circuit Arnberg transfer switches on Saturday morning and got them Saturday night! Mounted them on concrete ( masonry bit is a must) had it mounted on Sunday. Had an issue with the conduit bending too much. I emailed arnberg and Ryan got back to me right away. He was ready to send me more elbows and suggested putting the elbow at the switches. That was really easy to do and worked out better as u can see in the picture. , Installed it myself on Monday. Instructions were easy. The biggest challenge was tracing the existing white wires to it's source. It took only 2 hours to do all 4 circuits. I tested everything and it works great. My goal zero yeti 1250 is semi permanently hooked up as my generator. 4 circuits are burner, garage/basement office, fridge and living room. During a power outage I'll have heat, garage door opener, a few lights, wi fi, landline cordless phone , alarm system , living room lights and TV and of course the fridge . I'm just waiting for my VMAX battery from Amazon so I can more than double the run time! Great product!

Excellent value for a small inverter generator.
Perfect for the small inverter generator. I’m a electrician, this is a safe way to use a small generator for critical circuits without the home occupants ability to overload the circuit easily.It’s good for the refer and a lighting circuit or the air handler on a gas or oil furnace.

Great two circuit switch!
I purchased this switch as a add on to my existing six circuit transfer switch at my main panel box. Wanted to add accessibility to two additional 15 amp circuits in my home. One which included a sump pump. For my particular installation the wiring was too short. Per Ryan it's ok to extend the wiring as needed so long as you use 14 ga AWG. DOESN'T MATTER IF ITS SOLID OR STRANDED WIRE. Mounted it directly under my existing switch. Made for a neat and clean installation. Works perfectly! Very happy with my purchase. The company is very prompt about answering any questions you might have. Highly recommend this switch.

Works perfect!
Very satisfied with the transfer switch and impressed with the customer service. Had a question about the installation and the response was quick. The folks at Arnberg Industries went above and beyond to make sure the install was correct. Really can't say enough about the the customer service. The transfer switch is made in the U.S. and is excellent quality. Works perfect and my furnace fires right up!

Don't mix the wiring.
I'm using this switch on a small solar system that I just put up an it's being used to transfer power to two areas of the house. Seem to work great an no problem installing it with the instructions.

Easy to install
Clean look. Easy installation. Wires were too short so if you would add about another foot of length, it would help most folks with their installs
