Simple, no toxins
Have used the white and clear sticky pages (biting insects seem to go for the white ones). Olsen flytraps are terrific--highly recommend.

works
The biting flies really go to this and I feel there are less bothering the horses. The stuff is REALLY sticky so don't attempt to put it on when there is the slightest breeze.

Absolutely useless!
moved it several places, changed out the sticky sheet, didn't catch a single fly--even by accident!waste of time and MONEY

not as stick as they used to be...
My second time buying these and they do not seem as sticky. I was very disappointed to see that of the first 5 flies that landed, 4 were able to fly away. This pattern continued throughout the day. The best trick for these sheets...wrap them around a white 5 gallon bucket, use a little duct tape or packaging tape to secure the sheet in place, and set the bucket upside-down in a sunny area where flies collect. I won't buy these again due to the minimal stickiness.

flies are strong
It seems the flies are stronger here in Minnesota they are attracted to the sleeves and land on them but off they go

Best you can get for catching stable flies.
Followed somebody’s tip on wrapping these around big white buckets to catch stable flies. They catch tons of biting flies! Best trap we have for stable flies. And they only catch flies and NOT birds. That’s important to us. I quit buying the Star Bar traps because they killed birds (terribly). These wrapped around big buckets are better anyway.

It wasn't what we thought it was. We were expecting replacement sleeves for an Epps Biting FlyTrap. But we adapted it to work for us anyway. We used cardboard to make the other part and hung then in our horse barn.

Latest stock not working properly
Last year I bought a trap and it was just magic - the nasty biting flies were gone !! BrilliantThis year I put a new adhesive sheet on the trap (this product) and I can watch the trap 'sort of'working - it attracted the biting flies to land on the trap - BUT then they got to fly away !!!Quality of adhesive has dropped in this product - be warned ! It catches some but not the horse flies (which are my main problem).Disappointed of Michigan
