AMAZING FAST WARRANTY SERVICE!
In June, 2023 we bought the basic 10 by 15 Instant Garage for backyard storage in Arizona. The sun here eats almost everything but I was hoping it would last a few years anyway. Assembly was not complicated although the instructions could have been clearer. Nevertheless, the shelter went up easily and the shelter did its job well for a while. However, by the end of the year stress marks began to appear where the cover touched the framework on the sides and a couple of winds later the cover fabric began to separate and tear. The sun cooked it a lot faster than I had hoped. In mid-February we decided to ask about warranty for that kind of damage. I filled out the online warranty request form about noon, sending a few photos of the damaged areas. I received a response from the Shelter Logic Customer Service Representative Jay just a few minutes after 3 the SAME DAY approving the replacement of the cover free of charge! He also offered an upgrade to the heavy duty cover replacement covers taking $200 off of the retail prices.THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST. Having had a few other issues with other items from other companies, I REALLY APPRECIATE Shelter Logic's response and highly recommend them. Although I cannot afford right now to upgrade, I will plan on doing that in the future when this second cover requires replacement.THANK YOU JAY and SHELTER LOGIC for taking care of this the way you did. EXCELLENT SERVICE.Richard Bartz

Owed for a month
The package arrived severely damaged! Torn open on one side and covered in packing tape. Now this could be the carriers fault as not all companies are gentle with heavier items.Unpacking the box lead to the discovery of a missing pole and ratchet strap. Called the company and they are sending the replacement as we speak. The poles were scratched and fairly dirty. The bolts are not sorted which isn’t a problem but they all have the same markings making it harder to figure out which is which. The small and medium length bolts are very close in length. The directions are picture based with part numbers. Nothing is written. Makes it easy for some but for me it was harder. You definitely need a small ladder as well as two people to assemble. Being 5’5, I can not reach the areas needed to do this alone. Much cursing ensued. After the frame was completed the cover went on easy. I did add some duct tape to areas that will be most likely to rub and cause premature damage to the cover. The back does not open. It flaps around a bit in the wind. I used bungee straps to try and add some support. It helped but a bar and clams would be better.I will add an up date as the weather is changing from summer to fall and one for winter. We normally do not get bad winters with a lot of snow but I think maybe adding some roof bracing should help.1 year update...Since I bought this I have had two tropical storms and a 85mph wind storm. It held up good!! One of the support poles broke but the cover held on good. No major complaints. Increased to four stars. Will seek purchasing replacement parts soon but it has done its job well. I do have it tied down fairly securely.

For the money, it's the best you can find.
I've had this for roughly 6 months now; so far it's survived the winter. I live in the mountains in New Mexico; it gets windy here. Like stupid windy. There are times when it'll blow at 40 mph for hours, and not in a steady way, more of in a gusty, damn-I -wish-I-wore-a-hat-because-my-hair's-in-my-mouth kind of way. And this thing has held up to that. So bam, 5 stars. Is it perfect? Meh, no, and here's why: - It's starting to develop a rip in the canvas from chaffing on one of the support bar bolts that sticks out a bit. - It was missing one pole when it arrived. - It is not the most rigid thing ever and moves around when it's windy. The tubing is pretty thin wall and the connections are about two steps above jank.So why 5 stars? Well, because: - I contacted the manufacturer about the pole and they sent a replacement quickly. Not overnight, but 2 day shipping style. - It has stood up to a serious amount of wind and not ripped up. - It's stood up to a few decent snow loads. Maybe 1' or so at most at a time. It sags a bit, but it holds. - It was pretty cheap, especially compared to the other stuff out there (even Costco). The problem with Costco is they don't always have the damn shelter... - You can get a replacement canvas. Some other notes: - I staked each post with one stake into asphalt. There are three holes, but the spacing was such that it would severely weaken the asphalt to drive more than one in so close to each other. - On the back I tied 2 33" tires/rims to the frame to help hold it down. I have no idea if they're necessary, but they don't hurt. - I have a 1970 Buick LeSabre parked in this shelter - it's a 20' long, 8' wide car and there is still room on the front and back of the shelter even with the tires in the back. Not a ton of room, but enough to squeeze through. - The twist in guy lines were useless for me. It's sitting on a corner bit of asphalt - so there's not many options for guy lines. The back and one side could potentially use guy lines, but there are several issues. First, there's no external way to hook up rope, which is kind of dumb. Next, the twist in stakes they provide are not good for any form or rocky soil. Perhaps if you have midwestern mud or some sandy loam, you'll be ok, but they were useless for me.All in all, I'd say it's worth it so far. I'll update if anything gets bitched.

Bad design, hard to assemble
Structure is very fragile, boltes rusted after several months.took very long ro assemble, because of bad instructions and also bad engineering of how items connect to each other.Shaky structure.

shelter logic instant garage (10'x15'x8'high)
The tent garage is good. It took longer than 2 hours to set it up, but it's fairly straightforward, and the instructions are excellent. I did quite a bit of the setup on my own, but it was helpful to have extra people there when putting the cover on and getting the frame up. I would have preferred that Shelter Logic sorted the carriage bolts of different lengths into different packages. If you purchase this, be sure to sort them by length before you put the garage together. The tent was an excellent deal on Amazon, and came with everything needed including the anchors. I would purchase this again.

Paper thin. Very poor quality
Did not last 2 seasons! Started to tear before the end of first season (summer). This was our second one. The first lasted much longer. Very disappointed this time.

good quality, easy to assemble
Product was as advertised, good quality, easy to assemble, two people required.Would have preferred it to be 12' x 24' with heavier material. Also, snow does notslide off well, maybe steeper roof pitch.

Tarp ripped in less then a year. Hours to put together and there was nowhere to hold the doors open.
Nowhere to hold the doors open. Pure crap
