The media could not be loaded.  Does not keep oil from splattering AT ALL! Check out the attached video and see for yourself! You can see the oil on the range, and also as it’s splattering. I immediately returned this. Save your money and just spend the extra money on the better ones, I did and it was worth it.

The weight of its own body bent the largest of these screens on the short trip from counter to pan for the very first use ever. The mesh is enormous, so I still had bacon fat all over the stove and spots on my arms from being flash-scalded by same. Even the tiniest one, an absolute bastion of construction compared to the other two, just disappoints. I will be dropping them off for a return tomorrow.

These suit my needs perfectly. They are fairly flimsy. However, for the price, that's to be expected. We have a nice, well-made splatter guard that's too large for the dishwasher, and I hate cleaning that thing. We were using it for all pot sizes, regardless of how small, then having to hand-wash. Now, it's not such a huge deal to pull out a splatter guard for the small tasks. The 3 sizes that come in this package fit all of our pots and pans, as well as fitting nicely inside the dishwasher. I don't mind the wear and tear on them since they weren't that expensive. Worth every penny to save the elbow grease!

It is a bit early to rate the screens as to their durability. They work and having the smaller 8" is nice. We have frying pans, egg pans, and saute pans ranging from 2.5" aluminum/Teflon single egg, up to a 12" high carbon steel saute pan. The smallest pan requiring a splatter screen is a 5" cast iron frying pan.We have tried the silicon splatter screens but they do not permit the water vapor to escape easily and consequently steam the food.I will revisit this review in 6 to 12 months

I don’t think this was meant to be used as a stovetop grease splatter guard. On first use it warped and deformed. This makes is less efficient at trapping airborne grease. I’ve attached a photo showing the used splatter screen next to the two I haven’t used.

I upped the stars on my review since the screens themselves are holding up and managing the dishwasher . Placed where nothing will bump into them they wash in the dishwasher fine. The rest of my review from before still stands. I am going to buy these again for my son, but I will make sure he pops the blue plastic off. The screens themselves are ok, but the plastic handles are not stove ready, even in the hot water of the dishwasher I was smelling a plastic off gassing, on the stove the general heat of the stove top made my kitchen smell of melting plastic. Although they did not actually melt I was concerned they would contaminate my food. I ended up popping the plastic handle out of the metal frame and use them like that. Which begs the question, "Why not just buy the ones without the plastic handles?" These required a couple of uses and runs through the dishwasher to stop smelling like whatever they were coated with.

I have used these before but I got them in stores. I could not find anything that wasn't giantic! I love the 8" 1 0" & 11" sizes. if they don't extend a lot further than the size of the pan, the screens won't burn off!I am very happy with my screen purchase!

The size was the big seller for me. I love that there were three. I also liked that the mesh was closer together and the outer rim seemed well intact.
