Pucked Love

I like how in the last book and this one, then MMC is quite emotionally stunted and are so sweet and innocent with their attempts of romance and 'wooing'. This book didn't go how I thought it would, but it was very sweet with some twists I wasn't expecting.

I’m sad this series is over. I enjoyed the stories. I think Randy and Lily were my favourite. However, I did enjoy the other stories too and like how the ending of this showed a little piece of everyone else’s ending too ❤️❤️

I think this was the best story out of all of this series. Darren and Charlene get together with the help of their friends. They both suffered as children and it seriously affects what they know about loving someone. Darren was left with his grandparents who never loved him and Charlene was brought up in a community closed off from the world before she escaped. After being together for two years Darren is helped by his friends to learn how to show love and he is trying to be careful not to frighten her off. Its nicely written.

Aww, this one was so sweet! I loved how the relationship transitioned through the book, in the beginning everything was so stilted and sounded like a negotiation by the end it was so natural and loving. Fab.

My book hangover (or more like my Pucked hangover) is already started and that was before I finished reading! I can't believe this amazing series is now over but what a fab book to end it on!Helena has managed to bring us each of these Pucked hockey players and gave them all fab stories that's just made us love them more and more each time we have got a new book... my heart is so full with these guys and Darren has managed to squeeze himself in there now too!So this was the turn to have Darren and Charlenes story... and boy has she kept us guessing over the years about these pair lolAnd I can tell you all you won't be disappoint one bit when reading Pucked Love!These characters are so beyond perfect for each other it's unreal.. both with their messed up childhoods and their need to keep people at a distance... they somehow work together but they both just need to see it.... can two broken people make 1 whole perfect couple??Who wouldn't want to Westinghouse's firefly after reading this.Helena I couldn't thank you enough for giving us these books and I 1 million percent recommend everyone to give them all a read!

I LOVED finally getting a peek into Darren and Charlene's relationship. It was as good as I hoped, with plenty of surprises (not just for the hockey boys 😉)I also really appreciated the male friendship's in this one much more. I'm quite sad to be leaving this series behind though. Thoroughly recommended once again.Favourite Quote(s):* Sometimes the most broken souls find each other, as if their missing pieces exist in another person. Charlene and Darren got together thanks to their friends and have been together for a couple of years! Each gives the other what they need but don't really know a lot about each other! What happens when Charlene finds out about Darren's childhood? What happens when Darren meets Charlene's mum? Overcoming these secrets and starting to let the other in doesn't prepare them for the last secret Charlene has been keeping. Can they survive the fallout? Will they be able to come together stronger? I loved Charlene and Darren, both damaged by childhood but building a better happier future. Their chemistry is off the charts. I love that Helena also had her other characters pop in and play a huge part in the storylines

we have had the inappropriate Violet and Alex, the sweet Summer and Miller, and the rest of the gang but now we have Darren and Charlene the enigmas of the group, we had hints into there life but we knew nothing, and nothing could prepare us for what we are about to find out!!!they both have there place in the group but could be overlooked as they were quite and reserved but this could not be further from the truth. this story changes like a hockey player rushing a goal with a puck! you think you know what coming then bam, plot twist then bam another plot twist, which i think was brilliant and kept you wanting to read more and more.Helena has brought us an amazing series which i am gutted that its finally finished!!!! you can't help but become engrossed and captured by every character in this series which i think is a testament to Helena's wonderful writing. i always had a soft spot for these pucked boys but Darren has just stolen my heart!!! i can't wait to see more from this author. Thank you Helena for years of this series!
