Nostalgic and Insighful
There's been so much written about this rivalry over the years there's a danger a book like this could slip into cliche and the same old stories - but i found it really interesting and insighful (and makes you realise how similar both cities / fans really are)As a Liverpool fan reading the book you realise how intense and important the rivalry is on the other side and means just as much. The book is objective and balanced and delves into stories I'd never heard before. I particularly enjoyed the chapters from the 70s and 80s - when the rivalry off the pitch was at its most intense.Would recommend to any United or Liverpool fan looking for a nostalgic and insightful look into the battle of England's two greatest clubs

Very average, a lot to do about nothing
Not much substance to this book, poorly written with long winded chapters and no real insights. Seemed like regurgitation of stories that we all knew anyway but padded out to make it into a book. I expected something more, disappointing book.
