Amazing lights! I have bought 8 of these lights in total. It is incredible what you are getting for the money. These are all aluminum, high power DMX controllable lights that are bright. I have used these for many different occasions including photo backdrop lighting, ambience lighting and scene lighting for short videos. If you are in a situation where you are unable to control these with DMX, the built in modes are sufficient for basic use, just make sure to hit enter after making changes to save your settings! Please note: the beam angle on these lights are quite narrow so for studio use, you will likely want a diffuser. The only complaints I have on these lights are 1. The power connectors are IEC (3 pin) so they have a higher chance of falling out of the socket unexpedly (though it has never happened to me) 2. There is no power loop through so you cannot connect lights in series 3. Lights to not shut off entirely when unplugged if DMX is still active (the display still blinks faintly) 4. Some variants of this light make a faint high pitched whine when running at full power (like a CRT sound) (the affected models have the fan oriented as an intake, rather than an exhaust (label facing in)) Other than that, these are great! Here are a few additional notes for those who are curious: 1. The power draw of each light is ~115W at full power. Not quite 200w (power supply is rated at 24v 5a), but since these are LED, they are definitely brighter than a 200w incandescent bulb. I had heard from some people on the internet claim that they drive the lights under power in order to increase longevity. 2. I found a few stage lights that use the exact same LEDs as these and they are rated at 50,000-100000 lamp hours MBTF is you were curious about how long these will last. 3. The built in fan is multi speed and temperature controlled. Even at full speed however, the fans are quite reasonable noise level wise. 4. The model number of these lights are ZQ01061 (UKing) 5. There is a similar model made by shehds that I haven't tried. A user on the internet claims the Shehds lights use slightly smaller wires internally and have a louder fan, but are also high quality so that is another option. I use the Ukings because thats what I am comfortable with. So yeah if you are looking for some really well built portable DMX lights but do not want to spend a ton of money, these are incredible and i've had no real issues since I bought them a year ago!

I have two of these and am planning on purchasing more. They are quite bright and produce very rich colors. I don't know much about the automatic programs as I use them with a band and want to maintain control via DMX. The white is a Bright White, but if you blend in a touch of red you get an excellent Warm White that's ideal for flesh tones. The unit is very well constructed with an aluminum casing. My only concern is that they do seem to get quite hot even with the fan and the aluminum heat sinks. I've been using them for about a year now of continuous weekend work and have had no problems. The double bracket makes it a cinch to set them on the ground in addition to flying them from a truss. The detachable IEC power cord is a nice touch on an inexpensive fixture...PowerCon in/out would have been nice but beggars can't be choosers! It also lacks a daisy chain power outlet...you can't plug anything else into this unit. Disappointing, but not enough to warrant taking a star off. Not at this price!

Installed 4 at a rollerskating center. Immediately ordered and installed 4 more. Will be adding more if these hold up. Very bright and the colors are actually very well done. DMX programming is super easy. The cooling fan is thermistor controlled so the fans won't be overused. Very nice effect. Highly recommend.

Great PAR light. We use them in our studio with a DMX controller. I wish they had a real white/warm white setting, but overall, we can get our studio walls lit pretty well.

First off I spent 11 years in the entertainment lighting industry, so I have some familiarity with this kind of product and realistic expectations. I purchased one of these units to test. Home use (outdoor lighting for Halloween, etc) since I no longer work in the field and cannot borrow what I need. First impressions: The unit is slightly smaller than I expected, which is a plus. The outside casing is indeed aluminum, although the face and backplate feel a little flimsy, might not survive a hefty smash. There is one oddity about the menu's, you have an A(usually address) and D(usually dimmer, same thing in many cases) option for addressing the unit. Turns out this is the selection between 8 channel and 4 channel modes. 8ch mode is Master-RGBW-Strobe-Function Choice-Function Speed. 4ch mode is just RBGW. I don't have a way to test the DMX control response right now but will update if I do, but having a Master level control is a must in my book. I performed an eight hour burn in at full. The fan is temperature controlled and at full bore was moderately loud, but not loud enough I would worry about it during a show. At no point in the burn in did the unit become hot to the touch, I could touch the faceplate comfortably with my bare hand. The temp in the room (10x10) did not increase at all during the burn in (steady at 58F). Once darkness settled I took it outside and shined it up a tree - very good punch even 25ft up, spread was quite reasonable. I might even try using the units for a front or back wash in a low house (16-25' throw). The coverage is actually much better than I expected. There is a section in the product description that states "Beam Angle: 25 °- 60 ° " - I have no idea what they are trying to say with this line, there is no manual or automatic function to adjust the beam angle. I think they may be trying to describe the different up light coverage while pointed at a wall, based on tilt toward the wall, but not sure. I did not see much light spill while using the unit, and the color blending was reasonable to quite good. Overall I was quite surprised by this little unit. I have a couple other options being delivered tomorrow, but I fully expect to be purchasing a few more of these. The price point at $100 is a little high, but still cheap enough that it's better than buying something more professional used.

My first par lights and I still use them. They get banged up and thrown around but they still get the job done. Cheap affordable and reliable

Los leds son super brillantes, la luz ilumina en interiores incluso de dia, de noche alcanza cubre varios metros la luz, construcción solida, fácil de usar. Si volveria a comprarla
