The cable is well made and sturdy. I'm using it to print from a Windows laptop to a Brother laser printer. Being sturdy is helping the cable hold up in a house full of cats that like to chew on cables. The insulation\shielding is a woven mesh, not vinyl. It provides better resistance to cuts and provides better strain relief.

It worked! Replace a miserable wifi connection to the printer. Although the printer was fairly close to the computer, I got the 25 foot cable because it had to route under the carpet of a walkway, then behind a desk to get to the printer. I carefully measured each rise, fall, turn, and span the cable would have to make. Now the printer works every time.

How often does one need 50 feet of UBS printer cable? My printer would not connect via WI-FI so I had to connect it via hardwire. Worked excellent.
