Solar powered free water
Works very good. Great for off grid or when power is out. Pushes the same preasure as those 110v pumps. I hooked mine to my well and home. I have it hooked to solar panels and run it just fine.

***1 year WARNING review***
I'm on my second pump, the first lasted almost 3 years, the motor still runs, the pump stopped pumping water, then, I pulled it out of my well and, finding the pipe had slipped off the nipple on the pump, i tested it and it started working so I reinstalled it. It worked for a few days then stopped pumping again. I'll tear that one apart and try to fix it. In the mean time, I bought another that's been running 3-4 months without issues except ocassionally tripping the internal fuse, I assume from overheating. This pump likes to run unrestricted. I'm not using a pressure tank, I have a gravity feed system except for a small on demand water heater that needs more pressure than my gravity feed system provides so the pump is turned on for hot water. If there's enough back pressure from a valve being partially shut, it trips the fuse. I'll install a pressure tank in the system eventually and hopefully, it will help. For a bit over $100.00, you get a functional 12 volt well pump that'll last a few years which is great for an off grid homestead. *** 1 YEAR UPDATE*** This was my second pump installed. It ran well for about 8 months if that. It started losing pressure and volumn, like the first one did, slowly pumping less and less water out of my shallow well. The pump is set at 35-40 ft down so it shouldnt be getting taxes. I then pump up about 13 ft to the top of my storage barrels on my back porch roof so the total lift is less than 55ft. It stopped being able to pump up to the storage barrels but still able to produce a little over a gallon per minute at the well. Its now down to a trickle that i havent mesures. As mentioned, its been installed about 8 months, it took me a while after ordering it to get it installed. I just misses the one year complaint window on it by 5 days. If id thought about fixing a complaint earlier when i first started having issues, i may have had recourbe, so be avare of that. I am trying a different pump in the next few days. Be concours, these pumps only last about a year it seems.

Surprisingly Good!!
Our well is 110 ft deep. The static water line is at 62 feet, and I have this 12 volt DC Pump set at 76 feet. Using a 12 volt marine battery, I can pump for about 36 hours! HAven't measured the actual flow Rate, but the pressure at 120 foot head (the distance beyond the top of the well, is roughly like that from a typical water fountain at the gym or at school. VERY pleased. I have had the pump for two months, and have moved well over 500 gallons of water.

Calculate voltage drop!
Don’t make the same mistake as I did. In my well, the static water level is at 92ft. I put the pump 130ft into the well. I first installed it with 14ga wires. I bought 14ga wire because I thought about it like I would for 120 volts. The pump draws 10 amps. 14ga wire is plenty for 10 amps, but... I did not take into account the voltage drop over the 135ft of wire. The pump was performing very very poorly after initial install. It was only pumping about 1/4 of a gallon per minute. After thinking about it, I calculated the voltage drop, and found out the pump would only be getting 6 volts with my wire! I got 10ga wire and pulled the pump up and ran the new wire. The 10ga gives me 2.5 volt drop. I’m using my truck to run the pump, so the input is 14 volts. The pump is now getting 11.5 volts after the 135 feet of wire. The pump now performs quite well, pumping about 1.3 gallons per minute. The new problem is that it cycles. The thermal protection is apparently very sensitive on this pump. It initially runs for about 5 minutes solid before shutting down for about 1 minute. It then runs shorter and shorter periods until is levels off at about 1 minute on, 1 minute off. This is ok for my application, but keep that in mind for your application. I still gave it 4 stars, despite the cycling, because it’s so cheap.

Instaled in and working Perfect
Installed this small inexpensive pump in a remote village in Uganda, Africa where I had been battling for three years without water. Waoo, AMAZING -Vertical height for pushing: 33ft (10meters) -Horizontal length for pushing : 147ft (45meters) -Solar battery: 100AH .........And am getting 7.5liters per minute (2Gallon per minute). I love this pump. I can now have free flowing water at home.... Update after one Year: After one year of use, I removed the battery and connected it directly to a 120watt solar panel via Linear Current Booster, Wowowowo, 14liters per minute, more than the expected output. I would say this is one of the best items I bought from Amazon....one clue is, a float switch is a must to avoid burning out the pump when water is over from your well or any other water source

work horse
I purchased this pump three years ago for a shallow well, 23'. It recently stopped pumping after I agitated the well with an air lift trying to remove a few feet of sand in preparation of the upcoming drought. This year I fear the well will go dry without going down a few more feet. My shallow well has filled in about 36" in the past 65 years. It does not sound like much, but that is a lot of water with a 4' caisson. The water is hard. While the inside of my pump looks good, the label isrusted because manufacturer must use metallic ink. The electrical connections were also rusty, but everything else is fine. For the past three years this pump has moved 1300 gallons of water per day. I hope this helps.

Pump not as advertised
Beware This pump is advertised to operate at 10 amps But it requires more than 10 amps to operate under load!! Thus, any charge controller purchased which operates at 10 amps will not allow this pump to work!! According to “Rufus” Amazon is well aware of this problem but has taken no steps to correct the situation! Anyone need a pump and charge controller both of which were falsely advertised?
