Pleasant sounding bells
These have a pleasant, light ring that doesn't bother my sensitive ears. Very cute, one had fallen apart durring shipping but was very easy to put back in place. I gifted them and they are very appreciated, used on door knobs.

Why you need jingle bells year round...
"Why are you buying jingle bells off season" you may ask? I found another use for the dainty set of burlap entwined (and very rustic) set of holiday bells! The front door and the back door....great to hear the family coming in the laundry area or that someone's at the front door no matter where you are in the house without the door alarm announcing that someone is entering or exiting as it can be abrupt. This is a more soothing sound to let you know that someone is entering the home. A+!!!

Not what I expected
The bells are very lightweight. Light as a feather. Not rustic at all. It says brass but my guess would be just brass paint over aluminum or some other very lightweight metal. I don't know why they say "iron wrought" which I took to mean wrought iron - not at all what these are. So very very disappointed. If you don't care about any of the issues I have mentioned, what you get seems to be nicely made, just nothing close to the description. Look at the pictures, but avoid reading what they say about them.
