6 year, 7 month review ( most extensive on record)
The Hazard 4 Plan B Evac Sling, designed for literally every single possible situation and scenario. I started research on this bag in 2016, the Molle panels and sheer black color of the sling bag initially drew in 16 year old me. Some time passed and I finally had my first terrible little job flipping chicken and some neighborhood joint. Then came my first check, some $300. At the time, I believe this bag was $114 with shipping not including for me. At 17, that was a lot of my check, but the look of the bag just never left my mind. I knew what I wanted and got it. My life was completely changed at that moment due in part to just what and where this bag went with me. From high school and my crap job, this bag held my uniform,, bike lock, water bottle, and the things my school bag didn’t hold. The ability to use the back slot that rests against the user’s back for a Camelbak made this a game changer. This is not the lightest bag coming in at two pounds, but what you can do with it is worth it. In my late teens, the back slot became my “stash spot” when questioned about any interesting odors while skateboarding. It became my day bag, everyday. When I turned 18, I finally had the money to get a defensive knife “SOCP Benchmade” and found the best place to mount it was on the sling, allowing a fast draw and the ability to always have a weapon at the ready; it helps how well it blends in as well! On planes, in crowded cars, on buses and trains, this bag was there with me between my feet and never further than my knees. At the beach, the Condura kept the sand away (although the bottle pouches kept a bit lol) and always had a towel ready inside and some drinks still cold from the felt lined thick walled padding within the bag. The center divider is used for my phone more than anything, just stick it to one side et voila! you have a pocket. The netting has torn in my bag but it’s still holding my gear in there. Meds, deodorant, a face mask, whatever… On the outer bags, my top pouch has little gear like lighters, cologne, sanitizer, and the occasional treat I want handy. The lower pouch is probably my favorite; pens, lock picks, portable battery, earbuds, field sharpener, compass and fire starter, and sunglasses. This bag has been used, abused, soaked, seared, thrown, dropped, dragged, used as a pillow, used as a shooting rest, used to move from place to place, to get up to no good, to do good, every damn thing. If you don’t care for my take, here’s the breakdown: At 17.5 inches in height, most rifles won’t fit, use the pack down clips on either side to lash it on, the pocket nearest the user fits a full sized pistol with optics and a suppressor. Mollie mounts mean you can lash it to a plate carrier and it just won’t fail. After nearly 7 years of use, the Condura seams are showing their ugly side by fraying in most every possible spot, it still has no holes in it and or gaps because this is a double seam, double stitched bag and every weak point. Tablets and laptops have a hard time fitting, doesn’t mean that it won’t fit if you try enough, some things just shouldn’t be in this bag perhaps but it’s good at doing everything else. People have given me crap about it being a man purse but yea that’s exactly what it is, it’s a sick ass man purse that will hold your doodads and a gun, especially with the Hazard 4 holster you can put on the sling for a cooler look or anywhere really. This bag is phenomenal to rotate one handed, dominant or non-dominant hand pulling. Can be used as a dump pouch forward facing across the chest with the sling on your back. Can dump beers and snacks in it too as you’re raiding a pantry. the ease of movement and sheer comfort of the padding make this an excellent everyday bag. Watch your weight, this bag will hold more than your shoulder can, but you can make the sling mount left or right depending on you. This bag will be MY bag for many more years, probably until I don’t need a bag anymore and then it will be a SHTF bag filled with all the goodies 16 year old me wanted to put in it eventually. Buy this bag if you think you like it, it only gets better with use. To Hazard: Thank you for making Tactical Progression your priority, and for the many journeys you’ve given me to have had this bag on. I look forward to many many more as this is now the daddy diaper bag for the next two years or so❤️

Solid buy. Versitle and sturdy. My new favorite backpack!
I've been using this bag for about two weeks and can only say good things about it. It's super solid and well-made, but doesn't feel too rigid or clunky to carry around on the daily. I am using it mainly as a theme park day bag and wanted something that would be comfortable to carry around for long periods of walking and standing. When I bought the bag I was also a little nervous about how it would fit. I am female and I had heard complaints about this type of bag being uncomfortable to wear for those who are maybe more chesty than others. I almost expected to have to send it back after trying it on. I didn't find this particular pack to be uncomfortable at all though. It is extremely comfortable to wear in all of it's configurations. In crowded areas I often find myself slinging the pack from my back to hug around my side/waist area and it makes for a super comfortable fit as well as easy access to the pockets. I was also worried about the bag's slender design being a problem, as far as being able to hold what I need. Fortunately though, it has been perfect! I can fit my 9x7x3 GoPro case and accessories (including a hefty 39" collapsible pole), wallet, passport, phone, chargers, portable power supply, sunglasses, rain poncho, utility knife, notebooks, pens, and other small essentials with tons of room to spare. Sometimes I'll even throw my 10" tablet in there with no problem. The tablet does tend to sit a little wonky in this bag, but doesn't bother me too much. I also want to say that I think that this bag functions at it's prime if you compartmentalize your gear. This bag has so many little components that I love. The stability chest strap works well. The MOLLE webbing and compressions straps are super useful touches. Even the little hook and loop area on the front of the small pocket has proven great. I have loved being able to slap a moral patch on there and add some character to the bag now and then. Overall, it's just a great little day pack and I am loving it. I think with smart packing, it would even serve nicely as a small overnight bag. So far, I have no complaints and Hazard 4 has earned themselves a new loyal customer.

Best Bag I’ve Bought in years despite poor marketing.
I hemmed and hawed on this purchase for a while. I’m a bag geek and have never found the “perfect” gear bag but this may finally be as close to it as I’ll ever find. The design is very ergonomic. It’s easy to carry with a very thick, padded shoulders strap. The pinch clip on the shoulder strap has a locking clip design. It has small grab handles in all the right places and has real, practical MOLLE points in realistic locations for mounting smaller attachments. The Velcro field is ample size, sewn down, and also MOLLE compatible. The seams are stitched very well and all of them are clean and unobtrusive. I have been disappointed more than once by bags that “get in their own way” when using the zipper. It’s annoying. Not here. The nylon stays clear of the zipper and they slide smoothly. The interior is lined with a tan color so it’s easier to locate items than my bags with darker interiors. There are a dozen attachment points in the form of straps, D-dings, and such. (I added an H&K clip to mine for keys and it’s a perfect match.). Lastly it’s simply over-engineered to a practical level. I bought this bag after swearing off a competitor (Maxpedition, if one must know. What hype their warranty is! That’s a whole different story however.) This bag, and the Hazard 4 accessories I bought for it are the highest quality I have far surpassing those commercially available items. Ive used this bag for about four months. It’s been on international flights, surveillance operations, and family trips. It’s the right size of small enough to move around easily and store out of the way in a vehicle and yet it seems cavernous inside holding full DSLR Nikon, ammo, IFAK, range finders, chargers, tools, pens., notebooks, and flashlights with ease. What don’t i like? There are straps threaded through metal guides but the load bearing shoulder strap feeds through a polycarbonate one. I would’ve bought this bag a lot sooner (and probably influenced a few others at my work who take my gear-geek recommendations as gospel.) but I just couldn’t find the info on it up front. I couldn’t find a local vendor to check out Hazard 4 products hands on, their website is difficult to find and poorly laid out, and when called, they straight out denied letting me drop by their production facility locally to take a look at products. Their website link regarding this bag shows very little of the bag instead focusing on poses action shots of people holding the bag but providing very little about the bag itself. (There is a whole video of a guy skiiing with this bag, but never actually showing the bag itself. What’s that all about?!) I’d say despite their poor salesmanship they certainly know how to make a quality product. I’d venture to say if they ever get serious about their marketing they will dominate the market so long as they don’t compromise on quality in order to mass produce.

Comfortable, just the right size, great bag.
This is a great pack. I carry it pretty much every day, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I don't like stuffing things in my pockets, but I do need to carry crap around with me. The large outer zipper pocket is perfect for my wallet, keys, phone, and other pocket stuff. The little pocket is great for spare change, earplugs, tweezers, or anything small that you wouldn't want to throw into a larger compartment. The main compartment is plenty big enough for tools, fishing tack, small books, spare clothes and other such items. You won't be able to carry school books or a laptop in this bag. I would compare it to a small duffel bag. It is very comfortable to wear, even when it has a bunch of stuff in it. There is an additional waist strap for support if you have heavier items in it. To me, this seems like the perfect size and setup for a bug out bag, travel/carry-on bag, or pretty much any application where a "fanny pack" is too small, but a regular back pack is just a little too big. Enough room to carry plenty of stuff, stows easily, and is comfortable. What more could you want?

Might be my best new EDC bag.
I have quite a few bags. Maxpedition, MountainSmith, 5.11 etc. This bag and brand caught my eye recently. Although I love my Maxpedition Sitka with a few attachments, the Hazard 4 Plan B has a great vertical lenght of a tad over 19 inches. With the velcro dividers (had to buy extras), I was able to conceal my AR15 300blk pistol that has a Kak Shockwave buffer tube. So basically if you want to carry your AR pistol broken down, you can with tons of room to spare. Or anything else under 19 inches. There is a zipper on the top for a barrel tip to stick out but I dont plan on using it. Aside from the many CCW carry options there is MOLLE up and down both sides to attach other pouches if need be, so thats a very nice option. The front of the bag also has 5 rows of webbing and a pocket. Two nice side pockets that are somewhat hidden, one of them perfect for a phone. Rear zipper on the very rear of bag can handle a large water bladder and has appropriate features for running the water tube through the main strap. About sling packs, I didnt like them at first. If you load them up too heavy it will eventually put extra strain on one shoulder. This bag can be totally ambi and can easily be changed in the field unlike the Maxpedition Sitka. This bag also has a superior back padding and a great thick main strap with locking buckle. IMO EDC packs really shouldnt carry over 15 or 20 lbs, but if I was to overload a bag, it would be this one. If you want to pack an AR or other small pistol this is the way to go. I have done my 8 mile walk with a full load including AR. Not bad at all. Some of their other products are also really nice. Check out the Varness. 6 ft 200 lbs, great fit for me. So long as you dont mind a pack going across your back diagonally you might like it too. Great EDC or get home bag. UPPDATE : 8 months later still like the bag. 2 tears in sling strap which is something my maxpeditions never had after twice the use. Mostly cosmetic, but still.

Great bag
I bought this bag to use as a bug out bag and it does not disappoint! The sling bag seems to be built very solid and thoughtfully designed. I decided to take a nice 2.5 mile hike with the sling bag packed with what I consider my necessary bug out gear and I barely felt it on my back! For a sling bag it distributed the weight very well. It is important to adjust the sling for a comfy, snug, fit. Once adjusted, however, my bag does not move around on my back! It's solid even jumping and doing short sprints!! Another key element of this bag I would like to note is it's size. It stashes away great, nice and compact and yet holds all my gear (albeit with some creative packing). It is inconspicuous! You don't look like Rambo on the war path with this bag. I'm a big fan of the modularity of the m.o.l.l.e webbing system, and the bag has webbing on 3 sides plus the sling giving me all sorts of options for expansion! In short, I'm so impressed with this bag I might buy a second for day hiking or photography.

Love this bag, but.
First off, this is a great bag. Unfortunately, I was expecting a all around "go bag" that could carry my EDC and items for a shtf get home kitchen. Like I said this bag is really awesome its well designed and organized. Its just too small for me I think. If I need a bag set up for one or the other of the above mentioned situations it would be more than perfect but it becomes a bit stuffed when its filled for both. I ended up usong thw hydration bladder section for a concealed carry and its a little tough getting to it when the bag is filled. For a bail out ammo amd grenades and water bag, its the tops. I still love it and it is super narrow so it fits anywhere. I will try and whittle down mg gear and see if I can make it more functional for me. I am switching from a 5.11 Rush 12 which was the perfect fit for me and my gear. I hope this helps someone in their decision making. Oh, lastly, it has two slit bookshelf on the outside towards the bottom of the bag that look like they are for holding water bottles but the only way I could get water bottles in them was when the inside of the bag was empty. There are no baffles to the pockets and they are more like"document slips" than pockets.

Pack with purpose.
I saw some reviews for this pack and was so impressed I bought one. It doesn't disappoint. The pack is the perfect size to slide into a locker, under a car seat, or tucked in the corner. It carries well and stays out of the way, perfect for walking through crowded areas or while bicycling. The ability to pull the pack around and access all the pockets is great. I have used this pack for short day hikes, vacations and touring trips, and for general around town/campus use, and even as a range bag for shooting. It is too narrow for textbooks, but it is just the perfect width for my Asus notebook computer, water bottles and other general stuff. The full Molle/Pals compatibility is a big plus, just add extra pockets/pouches if you need them. If you are looking for a multipurpose goto bag, this is it. My only complaint about this pack is the hydration bladder compartment, which only opens from one side. All the other zippers can be accessed whether the pack is worn over right or left shoulder, but the hydration compartment only has a zipper on one side.

Mon sac EDC
Apres plusieurs achats de différents sac, de différentes marque, j'ai enfin trouvé le miens. Je ne m'en lasse pas. Jusqu' 7kg, rien a redire.

Quality
Sick of buying bags that lasted only one trip or light use. This is super high quality and you can feel how durable it is. I like the sling design too. Very comfortable to use on either shoulder (6ft2 male). I tested it's not wide enough to take a 15 inch laptop though so maybe look at something bigger if that is a thing you need.
