I got this for my nephew (who is 3) for Christmas last year and he just loves it! As his aunt, I try to get gifts that drive my sister crazy as opposed to educational ones but I'm also a huge dino lover so I thought why not. Every single time Ive gone to visit him, he pulls out this book! Last time we were playing with it, I pointed out the baby trex to which he immediately corrected me that it was a HATCHLING, so I'd say he's definitely learning from it as well! There are a bunch of little pieces that my sister had to put the Velcro on first thing Christmas morning, so I'd also say that it was an appropriate auntie gift as well ;) and she can't even really be mad because it's EDUCATIONAL!

The book has a great variety of activities. My only issue with it was some of the pictures didn’t match up on the matching activity. There were a few dinosaurs that were backwards which could be confusing to some kids when matching. There were also some colors in the matching activity that didn’t truly match. Markers work great and are easy to wipe off with provided erasers. You do have to assembly some of it yourself but it was easy to complete.

My son loves this book and the activities.

My granddaughter loves dinosaurs and she immediately wanted to play with it. She asks to play with it and spends hours just wrapped up in it.

I love this book. My son who is 4 loves working on it. It teaches him to trace numbers and letters, has matching and other problem solving activities. He's had it for 2 months and hasn't got bored with it yet which I take as a win.

My Dino loving pre-schooler is obsessed with this. He loves that the names are listed on the alphabet dinosaurs to challenge his knowledge. He also loves the tracing with the marker pages. Fun product. The only thing I would recommend is attaching the contents baggie with a clip to the book somehow.

Originally, when I bought this book, I was under the impression that it was all already completed for you. Maybe I missed some thing which is totally possible, but you had to Velcro every single piece, both in the book and on the attachment outside the book. If you buy this, I would say expect to spend a couple hours putting this together. Other than that my toddler enjoys it.
