Silent Angel: Detective Morgan Brookes, Book 7

I’m not sure what other words best explain how great this book is. It was a thrilling ride from the highs to the lows to the highs just like a roller coaster ride. It took everything in me to not read it in one sitting. I wouldn’t have stopped but my eyes just closed from sheer exhaustion late in the night. I loved this book!

Same old Morgan different casesMorgan and Ben are called to the church graveyard where a body was discovered in a ditch. While the team searches for the murderer, another girl goes missing. One of their own is missing and the search is on, before time runs out.A few new characters make an appearance, and I liked what they added to the team. I don't know if they will be back, but some guest appearances would be nice.Yes, Morgan again gets stuck with the killer even though she tries her best and everyone around her is warning her and watching for her. She just can't help it; she is a danger magnet.If you haven't read Morgan Brookes, I highly recommend this series. You could start this series here at book #7, but I feel it would ruin a lot. You wouldn't be lost if you did though.I didn't mention Declan yet, but he is one of the kindest souls to deal with the dead I have ever read. He has the most caring bedside manner.Love Morgan Brookes, and you will too!

Another amazing page turner. I have been hooked from book one and ready to get onto the next! So glad I came across this series.

I've read this series continuously and although the words depict graphic and horrible murders of people, Morgan's story is very interesting and exciting. Ready to read more!

I love this book series and the characters in it. This book was exiting and suspenseful and I liked it a lot - right up until the abrupt ending. I wanted clarification and answers. I wanted to know the reasons. I wanted everything tied up in a neat little bow. I didn’t get that, and to be honest it left me feeling a little disappointed. It was still a good book though, and I will be reading the next one. 4 stars

This book kept me on pins and needles, so many suspects. It was sad that Des was murdered. I was really thinking it was their boss. Still trying to figure him out. Could I'd put the book down Great ending. Can hardly wait to see what the next book brings.

This is the second book of this series I have read, but it is not for me. I liked the characters, the plot and the concept for this book. However, the story develops very slowly, which makes it hard for me to stay engaged. When the story moves it is really good, but those parts are sprinkled throughout. If you don't have a problem with staying engaged, this really is a good book.

An edge of your seat thriller! One young girl dead, another girl missing and an officer missing. Pink petals and sand are the only clues. A well written complex mystery with interesting charaters, department drama and romance.

Detective Morgan Brooke’s series is addictive!! Approach with caution - you won’t be able to put the book down!! Thanks for another brilliant book.

Good story lines but endings are predictable as you read through the series.

Great story, totally gripping and a mind boggling array of probable suspects. Enjoyed it immensely. Onward we go then Morgan ......

The ending was a bit confusing. I hope Morgan isn’t pregnant because she was feeling ill throughout the book. Foreshadowing?
