I almost didn't buy this based on the reviews of it not fitting well. I'm glad I did. It fit perfectly on my 2017 KTM 450 XC-F (Same model as a KTM 450 SX-F). It was a relatively easy install and took about 15 minutes. You'll need a 32MM socket to remove the rear tire and a 4m Allen wrench to screw in the guard screws. That's it. If you don't know how to remove your rear tire, I suggest you look it up on YT. It's very easy. If you have a torque wrench, the big nut for the rear axle is 49 ft lbs.The piece itself seems very durable, lightweight, and sturdy. I have not yet tested it against the elements (mostly boulders come to mind). I'll try and follow up with a review later after it's had a chance to be tested.If you're on the fence, and have a 2017-2018 KTM SXF or XCF, get it!

This is not the part for the casual do it yourselfer. Both pieces required substantial grinding and fitting which takes a lot of time and patience to get a good fit. It seems like most others had the same problem. It's too bad, I wonder what bike it actually fits?

Good quality, nice finish. Decent quality hardware, would recommend loctite on threads.Must have for any bike, rotors aren’t cheap.

Very nice finish, thicker than I expected based on the pictures which is a good thing. Bolted right up with no issues on my 2017 Ktm 350 excf.
