The kit looks impressive for the amount of stuff in it. I've no idea of the quality since we didn't use it. We have a nearby Tandy Leather store so we went to pick out some leather to start a simple project. We were stunned by the price of leather and decided to send the kit back.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He has been talking a lot about things he want to make with leather. I did a bit of shopping here on Amazon and found this kit. He is super pleased with it. I don’t know much about leather work, so I cannot say whether this is specifically for beginners. I think most all of these tools will be used for a long time.
